Guardians can't add contacts? SyncUP watch

I got my youngest daughter a SyncUp watch and my ex got my oldest daughter a SyncUp watch.  I sent her a Guardian invite and she sent me a Guardian invite.  All good so far.

 

Then my oldest daughter asked me to add Grandpa and Grandma, turns out Guardians can't add Contacts?  Why in the world would that be?

 

Can you please add functionality for Guardians to add Contacts?
