I'd like to know if anyone else has had this issue. I cha ged the password just now is hopes it'll help, but I have a feeling it won't. My only other option is resetting the modem completely and changing absolutely everything. All of this makes me think we've been hacked in every which way. Thanks y'all!

For the Wi-Fi connectivity, since you've already tried restarting your modem, changing the password, and are considering a factory reset.Ensure your modem's firmware is up to date.
