I'm having a problem with callers not being able to hear me when I'm speaking or they say the words have a cracking sound. Sometimes I can't make calls because I get a notification that I'm not connected to a network. When I make calls it takes forever for the call to connect even though it shows calling. I've had to return a Samsung Galaxy phone before to get another one because the store Rep couldn't determine what what was with it.40Visto0likes0ComentariosGood signal/bars but no network connection many times daily
Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings are set how tmobile and other people have said they should be. I don't have Wi-Fi so I'm set to always use mobile data. What now? Or will I just have to suffer through. It's prob just some tmobile network problem that's with the new 5g. I guess that's what I get buying a new phone. ¿Tienes alguna idea?89KViews22likes79ComentariosNetwork has become unusable, and no one will help...
I used to have an amazing experience with 200MB or better download speeds over the last couple of years on T-Mobile in my NYC apartment. As an employee and ex-employee I have continued to promote T-Mobile to my friends and family. A couple of months ago, something changed. I show 5 bars of 5G and 5 bars of 4G service back and forth, but there arepractically zero services. The internet if I can even get it to register with a speed test, is 1 MB download speed at best - It's unusable, and phone calls connect, but the other party can't hear most of what I'm saying most of the time. This is on multiple lines on my account in my location and on my wife's phone on her own account also at this location. The issue is all around my neighborhood - approximately a2-3 block radius in every direction. Even my brother has these issues when he comes to visit. Something has changed on the network - not sure if it's 2 towers competing or what… Multiple calls to care and they keep troubleshooting my phone and sending resets to it. They're not listening to me when I tell them it's multiple lines on multiple accounts. They asked me to factory reset my phone (more than once) and like an idiot, I complied with these requests. Considering it's on multiple lines, and only an issue at my home leads me to the conclusion that it is NOT an issue with my Galaxy S22 Ultra, or my wifes iPhone 12+, or my LG V60+ or my brothers Pixel 7, or my Galaxy Watch 5 (with plan). Still, every call ends up with the same troubleshooting. They asked me if I have wifi and if I can connect to it. I said yes - my wifi works great. WiFi calling does NOT work any better though. And, I pay for phone service with high-speed data so I don't have to use my home WiFi. Still, I tried but no dice with making calls over WiFi calling. I finally grudgingly threatened to port out, and they instantly put me in touch with the next level of tech support. After an hour of rehashing everything, they opened up 2 network tickets. One for me, one for my wife. I haven't heard a peep from anyone, and the service is still unusable. So, what are my next steps? It's not just my home, so others must have complained in this area.608Visto0likes5ComentariosWeak Signal despite TMO map of 5G
Seeing no place on T-Mobile website to convey this concern (other than a phone number) I'm taking to this forum. We were with Sprint for +/-20years and had a great signal at our house. Soon as it switched over to T-Mobile I'm having apps not working and a weak signal often of just one bar. T-Mobile coverage map shows us in the dark majenta for 5G but that's not happening on my iPhone13Pro (the newest at this time). Would prefer to not switch to AT&T but you may be forcing me to as they have a better signal.634Visto0likes9ComentariosT-Mobile 5G Connection Issues causing missed Texts, Calls, and Voicemail - NO DATA!
I just don't understand the disconnect or differences in the 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G wireless generations and why 5G seems to be so different. I never had to second guess what my status bar is indicating. I have had "5G" connection issues on Apple, Samsung, and now Google devices. Random errors like "emergency calls only" or no signal whatsoever. Or full 5G UC access - yet I can dial my phone and watch it not ring or indicate a missed call. I can even send a text message or leave a voicemail and neither ever arrive. Thought this issue was limited to Samsung and Apple. Got a Pixel - same issue - so I think it's the Tech itself and/or the tower but not the devices. Had 5G + on my Pixel 6 - placed a call while out and it rang but left voicemail - nothing. Realized the voicemail didn't pop up - tried again - nothing. Then I got a "missed" call. Yet no ring. When asked, the person said it rang but it was a long delay, and it didn't seem like a regular ring. Not sure why this is but when 5G is enabled, at some point your device "disconnects" from the network and you have no idea you have missed any contact attempts. Turn 5G off? Walla! Issues are gone. Smh Did those two voicemails ever pop up? Nope! Still waiting. Imagine if someone called me during this time, left their dying will on my voicemail and I would not have any clue they called me, let alone that they left a message. Meanwhile my phone shows connected and full 5G access. T-Mobile engineers need to speak on this, and they need to stop this 5G push if it isn't even reliable. NEVER had to ponder if my device is connected or not with LTE. NEVER. I guess I will try 5G when 6G comes out ……….5.2KViews8likes14ComentariosHorrible signal to noise ratio
So my signal to noise ratio is really terrible. So much in fact that my Internet speeds can be 1 to 5 Mbpsif lucky. Looking through my gateway settings as well as the app settings I see that the signal to noise ratio is not where it should be. This is causing the connection to drop or even the modem to rebooton its own. As you can see in the attached screenshots thesignal to noise ratio is really horrible on the primary signal as well as represented on the app but the signal to noise ratio on the secondary signal is actually quite good. Unfortunately that's not being reflected because I'm still getting a terrible connection as I had mentioned. I'm also getting a crazy thing happening where I'm getting locked out of my gateway page(192.168.12.1) but that might be a different problem. Is there any way for the secondary signal to kick over and stay basically making it my primary signal? and by the way this cannot be a heat issue since I have a fan underneath the modem and a fan on top of the modem.5.8KViews1like15ComentariosLTE is faster - Pixel 6
I have been having a HORRIBLE time keeping signal, my connection isn't always available, and my battery seems to drain super quick. I got a new Pixel 6, and thought maybe it was the phone, but didn't have that issue when I was with a carrier that used tmobile's lines, so I thought it was odd. I switched over to LTE and my connection is so so so much faster. Fast, like it used to be. I'm sticking with LTE. Besides every time I looked at my phone it would toggle 5G /UC, over and over. I'm sure that was draining my battery. Quick fix for a horrible problem. I almost switched carriers279Visto1like2Comentarioswhy did they force us to upgrade if there's no service?
I've recently finally upgraded to 5G. I've been putting it off and apparently for good reason if I'm not connected to Wi-Fi. I have absolutely no internet so when I leave the house I can't use any apps. I was shocked that they were actually giving us a new free phone but now I see why because the service is so terrible. It's the only way they can keep you on it. Why is 5g so bad?222Visto0likes1ComentarioWhile Tethering in 5g the connection constantly drops and reconnects. How do I fix?
How can i fix the this 5g tether issue? It only started when I moved to Denver area, All around Denver it does this. One day I did clear the Cashe at seems to be ok for a while but then the issue returned later in the evening. It is very annoying . . I can force the 4g connection on the phone and the issue goes away. BUT its a pain and I dont think I should have to. When I was in Ohio and other places I have not had the issue, it only started when I moved to Denver area. I am not going to clear the cache every day or everytime I want to use the teather feature. . I suggest it is from the last security update possibly ??372Visto1like4Comentarios
