Servidor DHCP
3 TopicsFull configuration of DHCP and other network services
Is there a way to get into a configuration screen for theKVD21 5G Gateway? Ideally, I'd like to connect my gateway to an existing TP-Link router to supply wireless and DHCP. I can work around the wireless by giving theKVD21 5G Gateway a separate SSID than the router, but I don't see any way to get into DHCP and configure or disable it on the gateway. I understand that T-Mobile is looking for simplicity of use for the overwhelming number of users, and I certainly think that's commendable. Nonetheless, for those of us who understand the basics of networking, access to advanced features would be a major improvement.Solved4.8KViews0likes17ComentariosHow to change the Wifi and LAN IP subnet
I just got a Tmobile 5G Home hotspot and set it up. It's working but it's built in DHCP server is handing out a subnet of 192.168.12.x /24 on both the Wifi and LAN ports. I would like to change this, or at least change the Wifi. The built in wifi will be useless to me unless I can change this IP. I have a home internet distribution system, Cisco access points on all the floors that blow away the built in wifi this thing has. And I don't trust the security in this device to keep my networks secure. If anyone knows how to change the IP please let me know. Thanks, David2.2KViews0likes5ComentariosIntermittent disconnecting devices - DHCP issue or something else?
I have the Nokia gateway. For two years running, my mixed wired/wireless network has worked just as expected. My network of about 50 devices is split about equally between Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Just this week, about 20 devices, mostly Ethernet, have dropped off, but return intermittently. A few Wi-Fi devices also have lost connectivity. The Wi-Fi devices remain associated to the gateway SSID, but do not have automatic IP addresses assigned. For these devices where I can access the user interface, I can successfully assign a fixed IP address and that solves the problem. But the ethernet side does not seem to work the same way. I have several Ethernet switches to distribute the network around the property and have replaced all of them and cables, yet the intermittent connectivity persists. I am running out of options and hope somebody here has some ideas what to try next. Thx!Solved184Visto0likes2Comentarios
