I have a Pixel XL that was originally Project Fi. I switched to TMobile two weeks ago and my group MMS are not downloading, either on wifi or mobile. Sometimes they come through, other times I have to go to the individual messages and download them. 90% of the time, they fail to download. I've done all the troubleshooting, including resetting the network and creating the new APN from this forum. My husband has the same phone and same network and is not having this issue. The message app also crashes after a few tries at downloading. Google support was not helpful, telling me I can't use wifi for MMS, which is incorrect because I've always used wifi. Plus, it's also happening on data. Below is the APN I have done according to TMobile support doc. Although, my phone does not have a "MMS protocol" option. This helped my phone to be able to receive them more frequently, although, I still have to download them. Android APN settings Open the Access Point Names or APNs menu. In Settings, look under Wireless & Networks or tap the Connections tab. Touch Mobile network. You may need to touch More settings, More..., or More networks first. Touch Access Point Names. Touch the T-Mobile APN if one is available. If not, press the Menu key and touch new APN. Verifica y actualiza las siguientes configuraciones para el APN de datos. Name: T-Mobile APN: Fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices) or epc.tmobile.com (for non-LTE devices) Proxy: <Not set> Port: <Not set> Username: <Not set> Password: <Not set> Server: <Not set> MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc MMS proxy: <Not set> MMS port: <Not set> MMS protocol: WAP 2.0 MCC: 310 MNC: 260 Authentication Type: <Not set> APN Type: default, supl, mms OR Internet+MMS Default Android provides a text field to enter: default, supl, mms. Samsung ofrece un botón de radio Internet+MSM para seleccionar. APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6 APN roaming protocol: IPv4 Turn APN on/off: Grayed out unless there are multiple APNs Bearer: Unspecified Press the Menu key. Touch Save. Delete any other APNs that appear in the list. El APN FOTA puede quedar si está disponible. Presiona el APN que hay que eliminar. Press the Menu key. Touch Delete APN. Solved18KViews0likes19ComentariosUnstable Hotspot and MMS Issue
Hi All. I am having a strange and annoying issue. I have an unlocked Samsung S21. When I use the APN provided by T-Mobile, I have a very unstable phone hotspot. I turn on the hotspot; sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. If it connects, it disconnects quickly. I have to turn on and off airplane mode multiple times to get it to work. I found a work around by creating a new APN for the phone. I changed the APN Protocol to IPv4/IPv6 and the APN roaming protocal: to IPv4/IPv6. With those settings, the phone hotspot works. Great right? Almost. Unfortunately, with those settings, I can no longer send group MMS. And to make matters stranger, my wife has an identical phone without hotspot issues. Can you help please? -Thanks! Hello, I bought a new phone, the Kyocera 702KC. It is fully unlocked and when I popped my SIM in, it gave me a bar and I attempted to make a call, in the middle of the ringing, I got disconnected and can not join T-mobile again. I was told to set-up APN, but I do not know what to type in. When I go to network setting, and click on T-mobile, it says "can't connect to this network right now, try again later"Solved1.8KViews1like13ComentariosT-mobile APN puzzle - Help
Hi, First of all, I am based in Brisbane, Australia and am unable to get any support from T-mobile. I tried searching for the App in the app store and it doesn't exist (Region locked ?) and also tried the international number but my phone plan won't let me. Can I please just get a T-Mobile support email address ? It's crazy there is not one listed on the website. Secondly and onto the issue at hand …. A co-worker based inUSA has purchased some T-mobile SIM cards for use in some of our businesses IoT products. In the past we have purchased cards and specified we want a public IP address and were told to use the APN of b2b.static. This batch of SIM cards however b2b.static APN is not working; the router is unable to get an active internet connection with the SIM. I also tried the following APNs: fast.t-mobile.com b2b.tmobile.com None of them worked. Then as a last resort hail mary, I used an APN we use here in Brisbane with Telstra SIM cards …telstra.extranet and huzzah, the router is now up and running with an active internet connection using the T-mobile SIM card. Can anyone please help me to understandwhat is going on ? Thanks in advance, Dan991Visto0likes1Comentario
