I am not able to use Apple TV On-Us even though it says I am active on my account. I had customer service people helping me on two different occasions and they all said I should wait 24 hours for a special link to be sentand will call me to make sure all that crap but still not resolved. I have a Magenta Max55 plan which offers Apple TV+ as a free subscription. I activated this and downloaded the app on my LG TV. I used the 6 digit code to access Apple TV and got into the programming. However, the menu says Apple TV+ Free for 7 days and then $6.99/month after that. It's supposed to be free. 20220901 Redeeming this offer is more confusing that it needs to be...the fine print states signing up for Apple TV app. But it would best to DIRECT subscribers to the "Activate your Apple TV+ subscription below. I couldn't erase this post but I figured it out myself so hopefully someone else that is confused will read this and see my STEP by STEP solution: Go to home page and scroll down to the graphic below for Activate your Apple TV+ subscription. Step 1: click on wireless link if you are a current Magenta MAX subscriber and then follow prompts. It will convert your current 1 year FREE Apple TV+ account that states you will be charged $4.99 to a credited by T-Mobile account. Instead I was pulled into the fine print graphic that states registration via Apple TV app.You don't need to do that. Just follow the link in the Activate your Apple TV+ subscription graphic that I just mentioned above to process this new feature. Anyhow good luck to you all. Hope this helps others. I was sent the email for the Apple TV+ On us promo and successfully got it my subscription switched from Apple to T-Mobile but when I checked my account, T-Mobile is listing a charge of $6.99 instead of having it listed as “On Us”. As far as I can tell I qualify for the promo, if I do not I wish T-mobile would have not sent me the offer and/or let me know before switching my subscription to them, I’d rather do Apple one if I have to pay.209Visto1like3ComentariosHulu App on Apple TV with iCloud Private Relay
I recently starting trialing T-Mobile Internet. Thought I would describe one issue I encountered in case it might help someone else. When attempting to use the Hulu app on Apple TV 4K with most recent tvOS, the Hulu app asked if I wanted to change my Home location. I clicked Yes, however the change never made any difference (I'm not sure it actually changed anything). Contacted Hulu. Initially they were pretty lost as to resolving the issue. Called back the next day. This time I spoke with someone who had the appropriate skills. First I needed to turn off Private Relay. This allowed the Hulu folks to acquire the correct IP address for the Apple TV. They then sent a Home Location change to the app. (I suspect I might have been able to do this myself if I'd turned off Private Relay). That change allowed me to login to Hulu. Live TV worked fine. I then turned Private Relay back on. Restarted the Apple TV and Hulu app. Everything is working fine. fwiw, the Hulu rep who ended up helping me said the Hulu apps for mobile devices are not sensitized to location information from the ISP. The app on Apple TV is sensitive. The Hulu app was receiving location information from T-Mobile indicating the Apple TV device was no longer in its original location.513Visto1like1ComentarioApple TV+ offer
Why does TMobile Tuesday offer free 6 months of Apple TV+ and states in the fine print it's for new and qualified existing customers but then try to redeem the offer on tv.apple.com it says It's only for new customers? How do we fix that issue? I tried apple tv for the first time when I used the offer in the past and now pay $6.99 a month so since the fine print says new or qualified existing customers why can't I get the deal?523Visto1like7Comentarios
