bug
7 TopicsText messages are randomly delayed by up to a day
I've been seeing this off and on for months in group texts mostly, but also in direct texts as well. The problem is that text messages are often delayed by up to 24 hours and then dumped all at once into my phone. This is looking to be a TMobile issue. I'm on an iPhone 11 Pro with the latest version of iOS. To sum up: This is only with text messages, not iMessage or other messaging apps. This happens when I have a good signal and a wifi connection in my house, but it has also happened when I'm out and have only cellular, but still a good signal. The other people in group chats are spread across numerous different carriers. None of them have reported this. The usual phone troubleshooting steps (quit the Messages application, restart the phone, etc) do absolutely nothing. I checked the activity logs in my TMobile account. The text messages in question all came through at the same time according to the logs. It looks like it's somehow getting delayed inside of TMobile's system. I've missed some texts due to this that were relatively time-sensitive. I don't think I need to express my frustration at something as old and dead-simple as SMS/MMS getting screwed up like this. It also doesn't help my frustration when the browser based Places/Topics Browser is hopelessly broken and the page I'm using to write this keeps auto-scrolling down when I interact with a number of elements on the page.42KViews22likes37ComentariosYoutube restriced Mode on data

Dear T-Mobile and Community: I'm running across a problem trying to activate a new prepaid MI line on a new account. It appears that a required website control is disabled in the website's coding. These steps have successfully duplicated the problem on five different browsers, including Windows/Edge, Windows/Firefox, Windows/Chrome, MacOS/Safari, and IOS/Safari: 1. Start at: https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prepaid-internet 2. Click on First GET STARTED button right in center top of page, takes you to: https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/plan-detail/mobile-internet 3. Select any plan (I used the first one, 2GB/$10 for testing). 4. In the popup, select NEW CUSTOMER. 5. You're now in PRODUCT SELECTOR with your plan selected. Scroll to Device, Choose Bring your own device. 6. Click on the newly-exposed tab "Lets connect your device with this line!" 7. Skip IMEI check (My T-Mobile iPAD isn't recognized by the system, but that's a database issue, separate from this.) 8. Tell the system you have a T-Mobile SIM card, input your SIM card number. Verify and click CONTINUE. 9. On the next screen, put in your new email address, choose a PIN, and put in your contact information. Click CONTINUE. 10. Now you're at https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/cart/line-setup, which is the page with the problem. 10A. Put in device nickname. 10B. Choose get a new number. 10C. Opt-in to E911, input address. 10D. Select ZIP code for Primary Place of Use PPU. AND... the bug: 10E. Observe that the PRIMARY NUMBER MENU is *disabled* (greyed out completely), and unable to be input or selected. 10F. Observe that the CONTINUE button is ALSO *disabled* (greyed out completely), and unable to be selected. The only choice at this point is "EDIT CART', which takes you back two pages to step 8, above. In short it is impossible to get past this point on any computer or browser, and is therefore impossible to self-active a Prepaid Mobile Internet line with your own SIM card as a new account on the T-Mobile website. I recently upgraded my T-Mobile OnePlus 8T 5G to the Android 12 update (security update July 5, 2022) - software version KB2007_11_C.41. There seems to be a bug with this update. Whenever I connect the phone to my vehicle's radio and initiate Android Auto, the phone prompts me what USB mode I want it to connect the USB through. I select Android Auto, and the phone connects, but all audio - music, podcast, etc. - while playing cuts in and out constantly. For example, the audio playing will pulsate between the vehicle's speakers and then the phone's speakers - over and over. I've tried everything and can't figure out what's going on. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? For the record, I never had these issues while on Android 11, and nothing has changed with my vehicle's radio. The only variable change has been the phone's operating system version. This bug needs to be fixed by OnePlus/T-mobile.So frustrating!611Visto0likes3ComentariosAnyone else experiencing inaccurate hotspot usage reports?
Is anyone else not getting the proper mobile hotspot usage data reported to their account? I called T-mobile and the say I've used 7 gbs of mobile hotspot data yet it only reports as 0.01 gbs used. And this is supposed to be the most reliable source of being able to track my hotpot usage other than calling in to ask.417Visto1like4ComentariosT-Mobile Hotspot Usage Bug with Tidal Streaming
I have been having issues with Tidal streaming on my Samsung S24 since February '24. I have determined that the data that Tidal is using to stream music is being recognized as "hotspot data" by T-Mobile. Each carrier billing cycle the T-Mobile system sends me a message stating I have hit my hotspot data cap. At that time Tidal becomes extremely slow and encounters buffering issues. All of my other applications work perfectly fine, I have unlimited data with my T-Mobile plan (Magenta Max55+), but for some reason, Tidal is using hotspot data or its data usage is being miscategorized as hotspot data. On my phone hotspot data usage reported is 0GB month over month. I never use my hotspot. Something weird is going on here, I am not sure if it is on the Tidal side in how it requests data or on the T-Mobile. I need help in having this issue investigated and escalated to the appropriate parties (Either at Tidal, T-Mobile, or maybe even Samsung). I have attempted to inform T-Mobile but they their phone support seems ill-equipped to handle uncommon technical problems. I am not sure if this will ever be resolved. I suppose in T-mobiles eyes this would be like a "P4" priority. Unless there is some security risk involved I doubt they will care.
