12 TopicsMystery Lines On Your Account
Hi, everyone. T Mobile has decided that they want me to let everyone know they should be checking their account immediately for unrecognized devices, lines, and higher bills. Nobody in our household has iPhones, but just today I was notified about a DIGITS promo that had been incorrectly applied to my account. As it turns out, T Mobile had allowed someone to add a new line and device on to my account without my knowledge. The best part is, they had been using DIGITS for some unknown reason. Perhaps it is to steal my information, perhaps it is to spam people from my phone number. In any case, customer service did remove it from my account right away, but my bill (after adjustment) is yet still $10 higher than it was last month. This kind of security breach must be something I am responsible for. They have so far been completely silent, and I am wondering what it is going to take for them to make this right. I've been a T Mobile customer for about a month now, and every week there is some kind of enormous problem. Regardless of my issues with the company, it would behoove you to double check your plans for new mystery phones that T Mobile has allowed onto them. They won't notify you, but they will bill you for it.9.9KViews5likes18ComentariosMcAfee alerted me my Social Security # was found as part of TMobile breach
Just got 4 alerts that my SSN was found on the dark web related to T-Mobile breach. This is absolutely ridiculous that we are now put in this position with no recourse. Anyone else experience this, and if so what are the next steps you took to secure yourself.1.3KViews4likes7Comentarioshow come t-mobile don’t care that their data base is hacked?
how come t-mobile don't care that their data base is hacked which means customers private personal information is breached and despite my countless efforts to bring this to their attention (twitter, Facebook, email, t-mobile) they literally don't care and won't respond. Oh and yes proof provided as well and nothing.105Visto2likes1ComentarioNo support for those affected by the 8/2021 data breach?
So today I got a couple of alerts from my credit card companies saying that my SSN was found on the dark web courtesy of the T-Mobile.com hack. While I received an email from T-Mobile lastyear about the hack I did not sign up for the free McAfee credit monitoring offer as I have little confidence in McAfee products in services. Well now that my info has been proven to be leaked I would like to avail of this service as it's probably better than not having it. However it seems as though the offer is no more. I contacted customer service who were intent on installing McAfee Mobile Security on my phone but couldn't grok that I wanted the credit monitoring service, not the crappy software. Is the free service offer still available, does anyone know? Next stop BBB.3.6KViews1like11Comentarios
