6 TopicsApple TV+ on Us: for Magenta Max subscribers! Fine Print states Apple TV app registration? How can I resolve this issue without having an Apple device to load this app? Please advise!
20220901 Redeeming this offer is more confusing that it needs to be...the fine print states signing up for Apple TV app. But it would best to DIRECT subscribers to the "Activate your Apple TV+ subscription below. I couldn't erase this post but I figured it out myself so hopefully someone else that is confused will read this and see my STEP by STEP solution: Go to home page and scroll down to the graphic below for Activate your Apple TV+ subscription. Step 1: click on wireless link if you are a current Magenta MAX subscriber and then follow prompts. It will convert your current 1 year FREE Apple TV+ account that states you will be charged $4.99 to a credited by T-Mobile account. Instead I was pulled into the fine print graphic that states registration via Apple TV app.You don't need to do that. Just follow the link in the Activate your Apple TV+ subscription graphic that I just mentioned above to process this new feature. Anyhow good luck to you all. Hope this helps others. After asking ChatGPT 3.5, Microsoft copilot, and Google Bardto compare the 'Google Fi Wireless Simply Unlimited plan' to 'T-Mobile Magenta 1.0 Plan' and determine which one is better for a family of 7 porting their own telephone numbers and bringing their existing cell phones. The answer for all three came back in favor of Google Fi Wireless. Does T-Mobile plan to offer an equally competitive plan? Because of space limitations here is the result of Bing Copilot (which is a competitor of Google): "Thank you for your question. I have searched the web for the details of the Google Fi Wireless 'Simply Unlimited' plan and the T-Mobile 'Magenta 1.0' plan, and I will compare them based on the information I found. The Google Fi Wireless 'Simply Unlimited' plan is a flexible and affordable plan that offers unlimited data, calls, and texts within the US, Canada, and Mexico for $30 per month per line for three or more lines1.This plan also includes 5 GB of hotspot tethering, free international texting to over 200 destinations, free calls to over 200 destinations from the US, full connectivity for select smartwatches, family safety features, VPN service, spam blocking, location sharing, contact controls, and 100 GB of cloud storage with Google One12. The T-Mobile 'Magenta 1.0' plan is a plan that offers unlimited data on the 5G & 4G LTE network for $70 per month per line3.This plan also includes unlimited mobile hotspot data at 3G speeds after 5 GB is used (up to 600 kbps), optimized video streaming at 480p, domestic data roaming up to 200 MB, international texting and calling to Mexico and Canada (up to 5 GB), Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi with unlimited texting and one hour of Wi-Fi access per session (unlimited flights/sessions), Scam Shield with free caller ID and scam blocking features, proxy line service by DIGITS by T-Mobile (requires a subscription fee), Netflix on us (requires two or more lines)34. Based on these comparisons, I think that the Google Fi Wireless 'Simply Unlimited' plan is better for a family of seven porting their own telephone numbers and bringing their existing cell phones because: It has a lower monthly cost than the T-Mobile 'Magenta 1.0' plan ($30 vs $70 per month per line). It has more hotspot tethering data than the T-Mobile 'Magenta 1.0' plan (5 GB vs none). It has more international features than the T-Mobile 'Magenta 1.0' plan (free texting and calling to over 200 destinations from the US vs none; free international texting to over 200 destinations vs none; free calls to over 200 destinations from the US vs none). It has more security features than the T-Mobile 'Magenta 1.0' plan (VPN service; spam blocking; location sharing; contact controls). It has more cloud storage than the T-Mobile 'Magenta 1.0' plan (100 GB with Google One vs none). I hope this helps you make an informed decision about your cell phone plans. I have ArcadyanKVD21, and while I am thoroughly impressed with the speeds from the device on the T-Mobile 5G network, I am disgusted by the lack of any ability to properly manage & (more importantly)secure thisdevice. This trade between speed and security is insulting and offensive to me as a technologically adeptSecurity professional, andexacerbatedby the fact thatT-Mobile continues to fail when tasked with protecting user account PII data. The inability to perform certain key functions completely disappoints me. Below are the primary issues and concerns, which *MUST* be resolved to keep me as a customer: Cannot perform setup /administrativetasks via wired interface. Current (internal)web interface only offers a "basic" informational portal. Cannot completely disable (turn off) WiFi, (likely due to the above). What (few) administrative tasks that are available, requires:download &installation of a worthless"mobile app", which also requires the device be connected to the local WiFi network. Current administrative functions are limited to 3 tasks, changingthe:administrative password, WiFi password, orname of the WiFi SSID. T-Mobile Internet app losesany/allfunctionalitybeyond the local network. If the gateway is connected to the internet, and the device with the app is as well, then there should be no valid reason to require "local" access, especially if the next point is true… As this prevents a parental/guardianauthority from managing the device while travelingoroutside the home (at work). T-Mobile app does not permit multiple instances of the app to be logged in with the same account/credentials. (per T-Mobile technical rep) What absolutely perplexes me is that many (if not all) of these points DID NOT EXIST when I reviewed an earlydevice around one (1)yearago… So why "cripple" the functionality?!?834Visto6likes11ComentariosSo this is what loyal sprint customers get, a barely functional black and white webpage...
I've had 3 key features I had as a sprint customer stripped away already, my phone bill skyrocketed to $300+ a month(with sprint it was $180 with tax), and I'm half expectingmy unlimited data to either be stripped next or forced to accept a jacked up rate at some point… Are you going to do anything more to make me want to switch back to Verizon as soon as my phone contract is upT-Mobile? Hell, I never wanted to be your customer in the first place but then you went and bought out sprint so I had little say in the matter. You even went as far as to keep the sprint site up for a year to lure unsuspecting customers like me in with a binding 3yr contract under the guise it was still apart of the Galaxy forever plan…except if i had read that fine print I'd of realized you merely leff the logo on there to trick people like me into getting locked in when the fine print said this wasn't the same plan. So why am i posting here? Simple: You have until the end of my 3yr contract to convince me you're more than a money grubbing company who gives the most basic features for jacked up rates. How might you ask? Again, simple: Provide me with features and/or benefits that can be INCLUDED with my plan for a MODEST additional fee and not that crappy netflix or sports channels anyone with cable can get INCLUDED for their service, I'm talking give me my amazon prime included with my plan back, give me disney+, ya know the GOOD video websites. Give me visual voicemail INCLUDED in my plan at no extra cost or at a very low rate, like sprint did. Give me features that will make me want to stay, if you need ideas look no farther than many of Sprint's business models. I'm expecting this post to vanish shortly after its posted, mods trying to get rid of bad PR posts like these no doubt except you've already managed that on your own by screwing over your sprint user customer base. Anyways, I'm waiting T-Mobile, convince me to stay or i'm gone when my contract is up...545Visto0likes2ComentariosGoogle One Billing via T-Mobile Issues
Hi, I've spent literally 3 days trying to get this fixed but when I go to start activation for the Google One 2TB + Unlimited Photos it says "You can't activate your plan with this account. To finish activation, switch to the account you used to sign up for Google One." T-Force has no resolution and Google Support says they can't help since it's billed through T-Mobile. Does anyone know how I can get this fixed I definitely do not have any other Google account at all. Google Support was useless and I just get thrown back and forth between T-Mobile & Google Support.499Visto1like8ComentariosDoes Android/Samsung Galaxy S23 have "Automatic Call Audio Routing" like iPhone?
I'm looking to buy a smart phone for my elderly mother and I would much rather go with Samsung than iPhone because I could buy her a GalaxyS23 for her birthday for the same price it would cost to get an iPhone SE which is really the bottom of the iPhone lineup. But I need to knowif the Galaxy S23has the "Automatic Call Audio Routing" feature like the iPhone does. On iPhone you don't even need to have a bluetooth device to enable this feature. For my mother who is hard of hearing, being able to rout calls automatically to speaker means that she doesn't even have to liftthe phone to her ear.She can take all calls through the speaker automatically. Can anyone tell me if the S23 has this feature enabled? I haven't been able to get a clear answer from anyone so far on this topic. Here's what it looks like on iPhone: Thank you in advance, 😀399Visto0likes7Comentarios
