Why does group Texting with non-apple devices not work
Can't get group texting to working with T-mobile and apple phone when there is a non-apple phone person in the group text. This is really frustrating and while I really like T-Mobile's clear billing, pricing, etc (actually been very satisfied with most other aspects), I am looking at going back to ATT or a low cost carrier as this lack of group texting functionality is quite frustrating. I talked with tech support, created a ticket, etc back in February 2023, they still haven't been able to resolve the issue. Not willing to call again and burn 1-2 hours trying to trouble shoot the issue anymore.

Sending/receiving MMS not working over WiFi
I just switched to T-Mobile (October 2023) and I cant send or receive MMS/group text messages over WiFi. My WiFi has to be OFF and mobile data turned ON for me to send/receive MMS group text messages. (no other combination of the two work other than that) Never had a problem with this on Verizon! And everything i've read so far says this is still a persistent issue (I remember i had this issue on t-mobile back in 2013). I've been using Samsung S series devices. Currently on my Note10. Is there a fix for this? Why is this still an issue? Seriously considering switching back to Verizon.

Group messaging not going through.
As of Friday 5/31/24 my Samsung s24 Ultra stopped working for group chats. I tried it all: Restart, removed sim card thenrestart, messed with the mms is the Samsung messaging app, turned off and on the rcs in the google messaging app, cleared the data and the cache on both as well, even factory reset the phone. I can text individuals, I receive the group texts but my responses aren't going through. if i turn off the group messaging then reply it goes through but then everyone in the group text gets my response individually. I've had this phone since it came out in January and this has never happened. Has anyone else run into this issue? The only thing I've done differently is the recent days in added the WhatsApp cause mywife is currently overseas in France. Could it have messed with my settings? I have deleted it already. ____________________________________________________________________________ SOLVED: I've done this too but the T-Mobile tech had me do it again over the phone with him. Go to settings Tap General Management Tap Reset Tap Reset Mobile Network Settings Tap Reset Settings Confirm Pin Tap RESET (phone will disconnect) This worked for me. I am able to text in group chat again. I hope this helps!

Unable to download group MMS
I have a Pixel XL that was originally Project Fi. I switched to TMobile two weeks ago and my group MMS are not downloading, either on wifi or mobile. Sometimes they come through, other times I have to go to the individual messages and download them. 90% of the time, they fail to download. I've done all the troubleshooting, including resetting the network and creating the new APN from this forum. My husband has the same phone and same network and is not having this issue. The message app also crashes after a few tries at downloading. Google support was not helpful, telling me I can't use wifi for MMS, which is incorrect because I've always used wifi. Plus, it's also happening on data. Below is the APN I have done according to TMobile support doc. Although, my phone does not have a "MMS protocol" option. This helped my phone to be able to receive them more frequently, although, I still have to download them. Android APN settings Open the Access Point Names or APNs menu. In Settings, look under Wireless & Networks or tap the Connections tab. Touch Mobile network. You may need to touch More settings, More..., or More networks first. Touch Access Point Names. Touch the T-Mobile APN if one is available. If not, press the Menu key and touch new APN. Verifica y actualiza las siguientes configuraciones para el APN de datos. Spam Group Text - 🚫
This week I started getting spam group text mesaages daily. How do I make it stop? Guessing my number was stolen or sold. Also Messager isn't even allowing me to block the whole thing, have to individually block all 20 numbers but each day different numbers.

Group texts while roaming are not getting logged under Usage History
Can anyone please confirm the following for me, based on personal experience. Group texts seem NOT to be getting logged under the Usage History, while roaming. That's my own personal observation, with roaming in Europe. I can confirm this for two different lines on my account, two different occasions, year(s) apart. Can anyone else confirm?
