T-Mobile's international travel plans vs eSims
eSims have gained in popularity. Our T-mobile plan includes free data while traveling in Europe (we're U.S. based) but 25 cents a minute for phone calls is expensive. Does T-Mobile have some other International plan for phone calls and how does that compare to our getting a local eSim carrier?
T-Mobile Free Trial for US travel
Hi there, I'm traveling to the US for a few weeks soon. I am from Germany. I thought about using the T-Mobile free trial for mobile data during my stay. Does anyone know if I can use that free trial despite being based in Germany, having a German iPhone and (obviously) a SIM that is set up for Germany usually? Thank you in advance! Fabian
Roaming on or off for International travel with ONE plan
I have the ONE plan and am traveling Internationally, which gives me data and text unlimited. the T-Mobile website says "You may need to turn on or turn off Data Roaming on your device." Question 1: Under what conditions would I need to turn ON Roaming? Question 2: Under what conditions would I need to turn OFFRoaming? Question 3: What IS roaming? thanks
Do i need to have roaming pack to receive text message
I am confused with mixed reviews. So, i will ask straight question "If i just need to receive and read the text, do i need any roaming plans during international trips" P.S. Not worried about incoming/outgoing calls or outgoing messages.. only want to read the received messages.international data on Magenta Max 55+ plan
We have been traveling extensively over the past couple of years since we converted to T-Mobile. One great advantage is the use of unlimited data during our travel. Understand that calls are $.25 per minute but want to make sure the data service is available in Spain and Portugal?T-Mobile representative said that my phone number will be disconnected if I travel abroad for more than 2 months, is this true??!
T-Mobile offers international plans, but when I called t-mobile to enroll, the sales rep stated that if I enroll in international plan, my phone number would get disconnected after 2 billing cycles while traveling abroad.Is this true?pre paid to post paid internationally
I have hadthe T-Mobile Prepaid Unlimited plan for years. Great plan, the problem with that now is that I am currently outside of the U.S and will be for a few months. I still need to receive calls from the U.S but my plan doesn't allow me to receive calls from everyone, only certain people that have a certain plan. I want to switch to the T mobile essentials plan due to the fact that it allows international calling. Is it possible to switch from prepaid to postpaid while outside of the country?Pase internacional
Be very careful when purchasing an international pass. It's a bit of a scam when it comes to cruises. They don't apply. Be sure not to waste your money because they charges are astronomical compared to international. Nowhere on the contract does it warn you about it not apply to cruise, SO THIS IS YOUR WARNING. I was not only charged for the pass but also for whatever the cruise ship charged T-mobile, though my contract was not with the cruise ship nor did any of the paperwork tell me this information.
