I moved my T-Mobile SIM from my iPhone X to my new iPad Mini 6 to try it out and while the iPad indicates 5G, the speedtest indicates that the connection is only 0.59 Mbps upload. The Google Fi SIM card gives me 122 Mbps !2.8KViews0likes4ComentariosWhat PIN?
I'm a prepaid customer and wanted to add another device. I went to My Profile and then Create Another Account andboughta prepaid sim and data service for my iPad through the "Bring Your Own Device". Got the sim today and popped it in. When I clicked Manage my T-Mobile Account in the cellular data tab in settings, it asked me to sign in and I did and it asked me to link the device to my T-Mobile ID and asked for a PIN. I used my TmobilePIN but itsaid it was incorrect so I called their number and asked for a PIN change for the cellular number linked to the SIM and used the new PIN but it said it was still incorrect. Sorry for the long story but does anyone have an idea of what PIN it could be asking for?Solved531Visto0likes1Comentarioswapping SIM between two ipads
I recently got a new ipad, did my research, and everything I could find online from both apple and T-Mobile says that I should be able to just take the SIM card out of my old iPad and put it into the new one. I did that, but the Cellular Service tab in Settings isn't activated and I can't figure out what the problem is. For reference, the SIM is going from a 5th Generation iPad to a 6th Generation.400Visto0likes1ComentarioiPad 9th gen. losing Internet connection after being idle on T-Mobile Home Internet
I have many devices on my home network, including many other Apple devices, and the only device that has this issue is my new 9th generation iPad. I use a T-Mobile 5G router to connect to the Internet. After my iPad sits idle for a while (in sleep mode), when I start using it again, I find that my iPad is no longer connected to the Internet (though it is still connected to my WiFi network). If I go into Settings and tap WiFi, after a few seconds, the orange "No Internet connection" message appears underneath my network name. If I turn WiFi off and then back on, my iPad goes back to being connected to the Internet. Then the problem repeats itself as soon as I leave my iPad idle for a little while. I am fairly certain this problem has something to do with my T-Mobile Home Internet device, because another T-Mobile customer with a 9th generation iPad reported this same problem to the Apple discussion forums earlier this year. I've tried all of the obvious solutions like updating my iPadOS, resetting network settings, etc. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?208Visto1like2ComentariosUnable to sign into apple ID for facetime after new sim
