Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues. First, at $50/month for 5G speeds with no data caps, this service is pretty much the best deal out there. When it is working well, we typically see speeds in the 60+ Mbps down/ 20+ Mbps up which is by far the best performance we've ever had at our house. Unfortunately, it has recently become the case that it almost never "works well". Over the last couple of weeks, we are lucky if we can get an hour a day where it is getting this kind of performance. For much of the day, it is actually not even usable (we're talking less than 1 Mbps and barely registering uploads). The strange thing is that when we first got this modem, it never seemed to be the case. I saw some forum discussions that overheating might be an issue, but it really isn't that hot. Additionally, when it is performing poorly, I noticed that we are getting less than two bars primary and zero bars secondary on the modem. Again, this previously wasn't the case. Sometime rebooting with temporarily resolve this issue, but I am not kidding when I tell you that most days we restart the modem a minimum of five times. Many times it simply doesn't fix anything. Compounding this is the fact that TMobile seems committed to off-shoring their technical support and the quality of this service is so bad it could be a post in itself. Over the last couple of months I've probably called once a week, which typically eats up an hour of my day and has rarely resolved anything. On three occasions, the representative told me they would call me back and not one has. Not one. On the last call, I managed to get a "manager" on the line who honestly was not any better than those who work for him. His only solution was to downgrade us to LTE even after I told him that we ultimately go the 5G device because the LTE was working very poorly. Anyway, I'm 99% sure I'm just going to have to bail on this service and go with Starlink which is available in my area. This really bums me out because whenTmobile's service is even working halfway decent it is more than enough for us, but "half-way decent" at this point is a dream state for us. Again, I'm curious if others are having similar issues. For what it is worth, we have the Nokia 5G cylindrical tower.2.7KViews12likes27ComentariosUnlocking an ancient phone: Is it possible?
Hello. Some time ago, I was handed a really old T-Mobile phone by a family member. Specifically, a Nokia 6010 from 2004. It neither had a SIM card nor a battery, both I was able to procure (I had an old Cingular (now AT&T) SIM card lying around and bought a battery on eBay). Of course, the phone was/is still locked to T-Mobile's network, and with the SIM inserted, asks for an unlock code. Not being a T-Mobile customer, and based on other posts I've seen here, I would assume that unlocking will not be possible. Then again, I'm not sure, considering the phone hasn't been used since the early 2000s, and that it predates T-Mobile's current unlocking policy by many, many years.Solved382Visto0likes4ComentariosSlow Ethernet, fast WiFi
I'm having an issue with my Nokia gateway, connected to the Gateway WIFI I get over 400mbs. But connected to my router which is connected to the back of the gateway I only get top 160mbs. Is this a big in the firmware? I would get super fast speeds before on my router and all of a sudden they stop. I have used different WIFI 6 routers and still the same issue. Different cable, same issue. I even tried a different gateway, same issue. Is TMobile doing this on purpose to force customers to use their integrated WIFI. Anything will help.958Visto1like6ComentariosHow To Get Nebula VPN To Work With Nokia Gateway
Has anyone been able to get Nebula VPN to work with Nokia gateway? Everything is fine until I fire up Nebula. Then for the work sites I need, I'm blocked …an immediate "not found". Not like it times out. It's immediate. All other sites are fine except those that require a VPN. I've seen that some past firmware updates have addressed some Cisco VPN issues but no mention of Nebula. It uses port 4242, and I keep wondering if that's somehow an issue. Weird thing is: if I turn of WiFi and use my phone as a hotspot, I'm golden. But with the Nokia gateway, nada. Anyone? Any help? Beuler? Thanks in advance.71Visto0likes1ComentarioNokia G310: IS this my dream phone???!
Things I would like in a phone: 1TB storage (lots of videos) Headphone jack FM radio Good DIY repairability. What the Nokia G310 5G has: SD card slot with support up to 1TB (plus 128GB onboard storage) Headphone jack FM radio (I hope that's the USA too. It appears it could be!) Is marketed by Nokia as easy to repair. iFix it says that battery, display and charge port replacement are all in the "moderate" difficulty level. It does only have USB 2.0 and 20W charging over USB type C. But those are the same specs as the iPhone 15. I'm not looking for a gaming phone. About the only, possibly processor intensive thing I would want to do is run an SDR on it. I would be trading in my Google Pixel 4a, that I don't really like because of the limited storage and lack of FM radio.569Visto0likes8ComentariosT-Mobile USA, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back activations for Non-VoLTE phones
T-Mobile, PLEASE BRING BACK ACTIVATIONS FOR NON-VOLTE DEVICES!!!!!!! There are many people in this country that want to use their older 2G- as well 3G capable phones along-side their LTE or 5G capable devices, and that is including me! I want to state that it is very bothersome when I want to use my 3 T-Mobile branded Nokia 3390s, or even my 5190, that they keep disconnecting with modern SIM cards I activate! It is very greedy of T-Mobile to do this to block new customers from using not just 2G devices, but also older LTE device such as: Galaxy S3 Galaxy Note 2 iPhone 5 iPhone 5c iPhone 5s Galaxy S4 Galaxy Note 3 and many more early Non-VoiceHD LTE devices that are kind of rendered useless because of this forced VoLTE that new SIM cards are programmed on. In many European countries like Germany where Deutsche Telekom is keeping 2G service active in it's full glory and explaining that 2G service will stay, and they even reassured people that 2G is staying for probably like ever, why don't we have that system here too where we can use whatever phone we want for forever? I mean, the 2G network will be around for a long time here so what's the issue to allow activations for non VoLTE devices? As I said earlier I have many Nokia 3390s (and I plan to get more) that I would like to use on the T-Mobile network and that will make me very happy and many others like me as well, and T-Mobile will make lots of money for new activations of 2G service too and I know they are looking for that. I will literally activate all of my 2G-3G phones in a heartbeat once they bring back Non-VoLTE activations! T-Mobile USA, the Nokia 3390s have only 64k SIM support and I BEG YOU GUYS TO PLEASE BRING BACK 64K SIM SUPPORT AS WELL!!!!! I WANT TO USE MY NOKIAS AND OTHER BRANDS FOR MANY MORE YEARS TO COME!!!!! T-Mobile, I know you are reading this, and I want to point out that since you guys have no set date for a 2G shutdown and won't for a really long time to come, I do want you guys to seriously invest thought into bringing back activations for old Non-VoiceOver LTE back, if you guys can also please favor these old phones a little more and explain how awesome they are too when you guys create that specific page for old phones and activations too! T-Mobile, Thanks for keeping 2G GSM service active for us BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE JUST LISTEN TO US AND BRING BACK 64K SIM SUPPORT SO WE HAVE EASY ACTIVATIONS That way you guys will have many more customers come on the network if that's what you guys are looking for!!!!!!! ¡Gracias David!2KViews3likes29ComentariosMotorola Edge 2022 and Nokia G400 5G!
Does T Mobile have the Motorola Edge 2022 and Nokia G400 5G in stock? Can I get a free phone without adding a new line or if I add a new line? Hello, Does anyone know if TMobile has done an update to the voice networks that would render the Nokia 225 to longer make calls? It was working fine and then a couple weeks ago it stopped working. I can make and receive sms still, which is odd. I thought it might just be an issue with setting so I did a factory reset but the issue still persists. I put my sim in a another phone which worked for voice calls. With these steps I figure it must just be the Nokia. Since it's a dumbphone and doesn't cost a lot, I ordered another one. The same issue is also happening on the new I got. Does anyone have an idea on what the issue might be that is causing these devices to no longer work?2.6KViews0likes30ComentariosRandom Reboots - 3rd gatway
When i first signed up for TMHI, it was the best thing around. In the last couple of months, it ain't worth having. It works awesome….when it works. I still have the Nokia trashcan gateway, and suddenly they will start rebooting randomly. Not a hard reboot it seems, as the uptime in the GUI never resets. I call/chat with Tech support and they do a couple of tests and send me a replacement gateway. This is the 3rd one. Out of the box, this one is rebooting anywhere from 2-5 times every 5 minutes, to 5 times an hour, to not rebooting for an extended amount of time. What is causing this? Is it firmware? Is it heat? I have a fan under it, and one on top in a push-pull config so I don't suspect heat. I do see the N71 band signal jumping all over the place. RSRP jumps from -50 to -88, to -94 to -104 then drops completely. B66 band stays pretty much where it always is, at -104. I can see the tower across the field from my house, and my parents also have the Nokia Gateway and he randomly had trouble like mine. They sent him a new gateway and reset his signal and everything has been fine since. We also have an Arcadyan gateway at our church that never misses a beat. I'm at my wits end with it. I work from home 90% of the time and I rely on this connection to keep me where I can work. Any suggestions? Oh. I also want to add that my speeds have dropped from the low-mid 200s down and 50s up to low 40s down and less than 10 up.166Visto0likes2ComentariosMy New Nokia phone will not accept my passcode

So it will tell me that i have to wait because i have entered it more than 5 times and will self destruct. no that part im kidding. How the heck do i get it to take that password off? I have entered my security questions and they are correct but still the phone is locked. safe mode no go. I even went back to the store and they will not help me.
