Try This: I've got the cure for the Motorola G7 play probably will work on other versions of android as well on any phone. 1.Settings 2. apps and notifications 3. See all apps 4. Tap the 3 dots menu upper right corner 5. Tap show system 6. tap phone services 7. tap notifications 8. Turn off alerts Goodbye notifications on the temporarily turned off by your carrier crap. No notifications when I text myself
I use an app that sends out sms messages to myself as reminders throughout the day (name of the app is textra). Lately, i am not getting notificatied for messages (sms) I send to myself. I can see the sms content when I open up my messages thread, however, they show up without triggering a notification. Tried calling tech support to no avail and it took 30 mins for the tech to understand the problem statement. Is there anyone who can address this? Additionally, here is the email thread from the devs at textra confirming it's a TMobile issue: Hi, It's a T-Mobile related issue as T-mobile now do not support or allow users to send messages to themselves (their mobile number), this is the same on all messaging applications. Endless Voicemail Notification
This was never an issue when I was with sprint and is unique only to T mobile. From my research, this has been a common problem for over 2 years that T mobile won't fix. Everyday, I get at least 40 voicemail notifications from (805) 637-7243 which is 805-MESSAGE. You clear the notification, it pops up again 10 secs later, and again, and again, then goes quiet for about 5 minutes. Then the process restarts. T-Mobile doesn't allow you to turn off the notification and only gives you the option to silence it for about 2 hours. This is harassment at this point and I wish Sprint never switched to T Mobile.
Voicemail notifications and OnePlus 9 Pro software updates
Last couple of times I seen I missed a call and never heard it ring. I did fix that issue why sound was turned down not sure. I discovered those missed calls did leave voicemail and that notification is not showing up. Came here to investigate and found issues with the software for the phone OnePlus 9 Pro. For the voicemail: When a voicemail is left there is no notifications showing for voicemail just a missed call. I have tried different things to get notifications to show but nothing has worked and went to the extreme and uninstalled the T-Mobile VVM knowing that I can always reinstall it later. That did not work, and yes restarted the phone several times and used the house phone to leave messages. If I know there is a voicemail I can retrieve and found them calling voicemail or using the VVM, I just want to know there is a message. Read where others have had this issue but could not find a simple way of fixing this issue. For software update: Question on this is if there is an update and T-Mobile does not provide it as quickly as OnePlus can you download the new update through OnePlus website? I am there and it goes into detail how to download to computer then to phone. Not something I plan to do at this time since I am not having any issues with the software unless it deals with the voicemail. Just reading where others have had issues with a new update that has caused them issues and the update is months older then what is available and thought to ask for future reference. Only have the phone less than a month and so far everything has been fine for me till I discovered notifications for voicemail not showing.Default notification sound for emails and texts
I have a Samsung S10. When I try to change the notification sound from the T-mobile default jingle, it works for most of the app notifications. However, the default jingle still plays with every new Gmail and text message received. How do I specifically change this sound?Not receiving bill payment notifications via email
I have bill payment notification set up for email but I'm not receiving any email from TMobile. No spam either. BUT I have also opted out of all marketing emails. Are the two related? Must I opt-in for marketing emails in order to get bill payment notifications via email?
