I contacted T-Force for an order issue and at the end of the chat the representative stated that they had "refreshed and updated the network software on their end." Does this actually mean anything or is this just fluff? I noticed that afterwards I wasn't getting 5GUC in areas that I was before which could be a coincidence but I thought the timing was weird.Solved203Visto0likes2ComentariosDoes T-Mobile have any plans to expose advanced settings on their gateways?
Is anyone able to provide a timeline for T-Mobile providing access to advanced router settings? (You know, the ones virtually all other ISPs provide) Currently T-Mobile's home internet solution does not allow users to: Manage DNS settings Manage DHCP (IP addresses for client machines) Use any subnet other than 192.168.12.x connected directly to the gateway Put the gateway into bridge mode - this results in double network address translation (NAT) that breaks services like port forwarding and VPN Specify the channel to be used for wireless SSIDs (neither 2.4 nor 5Ghz) It would be really nice to know if T-Mobile has any intention of ever resolving these issues. Until they do, users will continue to be frustrated with just how inflexible and limiting the T-Mobile home internet solution actually is compared to other ISPs. When you factor in that most users get 150/30Mbpsas average bandwidth, T-Mobile's low cost is actually not that low - most ISPs will provide 400/35Mbps for just a few dollars more. So, when can we expect to get real access, on T-Mobile Home Internet, to the configuration options that almost all other ISPs provide already? It really is shameful that this hasn't been addressed or resolved already!258Visto1like1ComentarioUPNP issues and is there a fix?
Hi I understand that the reason most gamers using t mobile home internet experience high ping is because of the lack of "UpNP" and was wondering if I upgraded to really nice gaming router with upnp enabled it would fix my issues. Or would it not help since the modem t mobile gives you doesn't have upnp Ping on last provider 0-20 Ping on t mobile 40-602.7KViews0likes1ComentarioEssential Plan additional $15 on the 3rd line, and Autopay discount doesn't seemed to be applied
I'm confused by how essential plans are charged. Called the customer service but the lady just tried to get over with the call, so I'm posting question on here instead. So I thought the plan is $90 for 3 lines (buy 2 lines & 3rd line free according to the attached screenshot), then plus the taxes & fees (about $15), the total should be something around $90 (3 lines) + $15 (taxes & fees) =$105. But I got charged $120 each month instead. I looked at the billing details (see attached screenshot), looks like only 2 lines are included with the 3rd line charged extra $15. So the total becomes: $90 (2 lines) + $15 (3rd line) + $15 (taxes & fees) = $120 So my questions are: Is the 3rd line really free? If it is free, then why is mine charged $15 extra? If it is notfree, then why is the web said such so? In my billing detail, it also stated there is $15 Autopay discount, I don't see that get discounted from my pay with Autopay setup already. If the $90 (for Essential 2 lines) and $10 (3rd line) are the price after discount, then that means the below, Essentials (2 lines): $90 after discount, original price is $100 3rd line: $15 after discount, original price is $20 → Then the original price for Essential 2 lines is $100 instead of $90, which I don't think this holds true with all the info I saw from the official website. It'll be greatly appreciated if someone could help clarify, thanks! Here are the screenshots.Solved969Visto0likes1Comentario
