Anyone else having problem activating galaxy watch 4 as standalone?
So I just got two LTE galaxy watch 4's to use when I don't want to carry my phone with me (while exercising). After spending two hours at a T-Mobile store and another hour on the phone with a technician, they escalate and another tech comes on and advises me that the galaxy watch 4 cannot be used as a standalone on t mobile. It can only be used when connected and near the phone its paired with! WHY would T-Mobile sell an LTE watch that can only be used when connected to the phone? That is called a Bluetooth watch! Very frustrated with them wasting 3 hours of my time, when this could have been mentioned when the watches were ordered. And even then, why sell LTE watches instead of Bluetooth watches? Has anyone one had this issue?
Galaxy Watch 5 burning skin?
Has anyone else experienced a Galaxy Watch (mine is 5 with LTE) sensor burning skin? I had my first ever Galaxy Watch delivered last week and have been moderately using it since then. Last morning I found a blister under the watch right after I woke up. Prior to this, I had used an economic wrist band for over 4 years and have had no problem at all, even though it had a sensor to calculate various health points too. I wasn't expecting something like this from a best of the line watch from Samsung. And this is when, the watch was in "Power Saving" mode the whole night, had Heart Rate monitoring enabled every 10 minutes, Stress disabled (manual), and Blood oxyzen during sleep disabled. The watch was connected to phone, and was in DND mode. This and the extremely low battery life makes this watch so undesired and am thinking if I shall keep it or return it.
Digits App work with Watch Digits line?
I have a digits line with my Samsung watch. How do I get the Digits app to connect with the watches phone number? When I login on the digits app it says no digits lines are available.I have 2 digits lines on my account both are watches though. Can I get my watches messages on the digits apps also? Sometimes often my watch dies I want to also receive the messages on the app.
Don't bother buying a Smartwatch from T-Mobile. Assurant is awful.
Replacing my smartwatch was an absolute nightmare. I submitted a claim on July 11th and the website said I could get the same device and it could be used or I could get a new device on the JUMP promo. I opted for the new device because I didn't want a used watch and I went to the store which was an option according to the website. The store informed me if I went with a watch5 I would need to pay for it in full and I would lose all my discounts by having a wachline. So I ended up on the phone with Assurant and ordering a replacement of the watch4 which could be "refurbished". My replacement watch was delivered to the wrong address by UPS. I called back to explain what happened. I was told there would be an investigation and it would take 14 BUSINESS DAYS to complete. I called back on the 15th business day and it still was not processed. On the 17th day I got an email asking me to contact Assurant and I called was immediately disconnected on and finally I spoke with a manager and had my claim reissued. I finally recieved my replacement almost a month later. tl;dr: My watch broke and I ended up with a yucky, used watch a month later.Error page when trying to activate Watch 5 Pro from S22 phone
Hi! I am trying to activate my new Galaxy Watch 5 phone this morning, replacing the Watch4. Paired with my S22 Ultra phone. I get to the point about setting up a mobile plan from the phone. I click on "sign up for mobile plan"…I then get "Webpage not available. The webpage at https://acms.msg.t-mobile.com/acms-entry-points/gll/activatecould not be loaded because: net:ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED". I reset the watch and tried again. Same problem. Anyone else having problems activating?
