9 Topicsphone barred after traveling to new country
I'm normally in the US. I traveled to Switzerland late June and did not encounter any problems. I then traveled to Paris, France. The next morning, I went to buy a train ticket for the subway. My bank card was declined. I went to call my bank, and when I tried I got an error "You cannot make outgoing calls while call barring is on." Data appears to work as expected. Before today, I had no idea what call barring is. I don't have it turned on within my T-mobile account. I don't know how it got turned on or why. The methods I've tried to disable it have not worked. This includes restarting the phone, checking for "call barring" in the settings menu (it's not there), and checking my account online to see if anything is set incorrectly (I couldn't find anything). I cannot call T-mobile support because this error comes up even when I try to call 611 or the 800 number for support. Ideas/thoughts/things to try?88Visto0likes0ComentariosStolen phone over seas

Can I suspend my service for more than 365 days?
I will be taking a one year sabbatical and I am wondering if I can suspend my service for more than 90 days. I am full aware the 90 days temporary suspension service, but since I will be traveling for more than 90 days, I am wondering what are my options. Also, if my phone line is temporary suspended, will WiFi calling and texting still be available? I am currently on the T-Mobile Essentials plan, and is paying $80 per month. Would like to reduce the billing to the minimum while I am traveling. Sincerely, a 10+ years T-Mobile customer,Solved4.4KViews0likes4ComentariosWhatsApp calls
My plan includes unlimited data (and messaging) out of the country. I called T-Mobile to ask a couple of questions about using the phone while out of the country, and the Tech Support agent told me not to make WhatsApp (or Facetime) calls because they count as calls and are charged at the rate of $0.25/min. I argues that WhatsApp calls consume data, not voice minutes, but he still said I will be charged if I make WhatsApp calls if not connected to wifi. Is he right?8.8KViews1like8ComentariosWifi Calling While Traveling Overseas
