wifi
18 TopicsExcellent signal, no connection
Can anyone help me?? I've called T-Mobile several times, talked to IT, and went to the store and still no help. I have the home internet, it's showing 5 bars and excellent connection, but our speed is 4 mbps. Our service used to be amazing, but lately we can't even watch a show on Netflix with out it buffering! We have reset our wifi, did the new network pathways with T-Mobile, and went in and got a new white router and it seems to be worse now! My phone, tv, iPadwon't on the wifi even thought it says our signal is excellent. I'm so frustrated with this, and about to cancel my internet; however, I love the price point compared to our areas Internet providers. Anyone know what to do? I'm not sure if you get a new sim or not with the new router? That is about the only thing I could think to replace, if it wasn't already with the router. Thank you!!296Visto0likes6ComentariosT-mobile Home Internet and Cellphone Interference
I recently switched over to T-Mobile home internet. I so far have had great coverage. My only issue is I have connected it to my iPhone 14 but as soon as I disconnect from it it disrupts my regular cellphone connection. I see a "E" appear next to the bars or no bars at all. During this time I am unable to send messages or receive messages and nothing with a picture will send. Only way to resolve this is to restart my phone. Is there any solutions to this? Or has anyone experienced the same?1KViews0likes6ComentariosApps not working without Wifi
My son was having issues with using any of his apps without wifi. Therefore, we purchased a new phone for his birthday and it is also having the same issue. I have seen others post with a similar issue but never any resolutions. We have chat with TMobile, they reset the eSIM with no luck of correcting this issue. We tried a few other options as well with no luck. Please help!Solved342Visto0likes4ComentariosSos only -no wifi access as well - Downtown Savannah Area- anyone else ha?ving this issue?
About an hour ago my phone went totally into sos mode. No wifi access either. I cant call t-mobile as I have no other phone with me and I cant leave my houe because I have a broken ankle. Has this happened to anyone else? Sos signal. cant call anyone and no wifi access? Is there a tower down or something or is it a phone issue? Ive done all the things I know to do as far as resetting my network settings and all of that. But why is it blocking my wifi access as well?112Visto0likes1ComentarioHow is it possible that Texting via all forms of data isnt working?
Text messages are not working for me (I am receiving sporadically but they are not sending according to multiple Messaging Apps) I'm not a network pro, but if I have WiFi working, Mobile Data working (I can post this question, for instance using my fold), how the heck are texts not finding a way to send? Tried SMS, WiFi calling on/off, RCS on/off, mobile data on/off, and all permutations. Even restarted the device. Duration thus far: 2 hours. Is there an authentication glitch on the TMobile Network? I live in the middle of a big city, I thought 5G meant that there was some tiny amount of robustness and redundancy. Is there some other dependency I do not know about that would mean out going texts fail despite full internet access? The fact this can happen with internet working seems unacceptable especially given thepremium prices. VM is also unavailable to access. There's shockingly little live outtage communication on this website or via support, which is unhelpful. Though it is easy to see the problem affects many others. If I were an enterprise customer something like this would seriously damage my faith in the network stability and redundancy best practices. If there is some otherdependency that often lacka backup (such as authentication) then there should have been a communication on the front page of the site detailing the issue and expected time to fix. These should be considered some of the most basic, barely adequate, business practices, in my opinion, and doubly so for a utility company.190Visto3likes4ComentariosT-Mobile branded phone won't connect to Excess Telecom SIM. It only works on Wi-fi.
I was given a Cat S62 T-Mobile device and it will not connect to the mobile network. It works with Wi-fi only. I have an ACP SIM card provided by Excess Telecom whom uses the T-Mobile network although T-Mobile app doesn't seem to recognize the phone number. The SIM card works in other devices and the device is reading the SIM but refuses to connect to it. I have configured the APN, reset network settings, and factory reset the device many times to no avail. I have tried several apps to get details on the SIM issue and it says the phone number and that its t-mobile but also says "network name: no connection" and "sim state: disconnected". The card works in every other phone and no other card will work in this device either. The device says "unlocked" in the settings but when I press it, it says "analyzing" and then says to restart to apply the unlock. It does this everytime I press it so I don't know if it is unlocked or not but considering Excess Telecom uses the T-Mobile network it should work anyway. Unless T-Mobile doesn't recognize Excess Telecom for there seems to be no information regarding their affiliation. I know that the previous owner of the device claimed that it didn't always have this issue so it doesn't seem to be an issue involving Cat or Bullitt Mobile for the hardware. I know it isn't Excess Telecom because the SIM works just fine in every other device. Those devices are unlocked though. This one says it is but remains T-Mobile branded. I cannot seem to get any help from T-Mobile because they don't recognize my 10 digit phone number from Excess Telecom as theirs. The default APN settings in every single phone I put this card in says T-Mobile though. And All the SIM apps say T-Mobile too. On the T-Mobile website it says ACP is provided through MetroPCS and Assurance Wireless. Nothing about Excess Telecom using their service. So does anyone know whats up with Excess Telecom and their T-Mobile SIM cards that T-Mobile doesn't recognize? Or does anyone know anything about the Cat S62 device? ??2.4KViews0likes4Comentariosmultiple devices connected to arcadian 5g home internet. some have internet and some do not
I am having some issues with my home 5G internet. I have multiple devices connected to my Arcadian router. It's new, I just started service a few days ago. It will randomly drop internet connection on 1 or 2 devices while others still have internet access. It does it at all times, when there's a heavy load, when there's a light load, at anytime. The only way to fix it is to restart the router. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix for my devices to not lose internet access while others still have access?74Visto0likes1Comentario
