Why am I receiving unwanted short codes from foreign countries?
I have been a T-Mobile Magenta Max 55+ customer for over one and half years with no issues until recently. About three weeks ago, I began receiving short codes with no message from foreign countries. This occurs several time per day. I called T-Mobile technical support and was told that they were issuing a trouble ticket. That was over a week ago and no response. Any one else have this problem? Is there a way to block these unwanted short codes?489Visto0likes4ComentariosT-Mobile Home Internet stopped working
I began using T-Mobile Home Internet six weeks ago and for the first four weeks it worked very well with speeds of 300 Mbps/30Mbps. Beginning about two weeks ago, the service began to slow down and for the past three days it has been dropping to less than 1 Mbps or less. The only way I can improve my speeds temporarily is by rebooting the gateway but that only works for about two hours. I have Magenta Max 55Plus and that service has been excellent. I called T-mobile several times and they tell me that "they are working on the towers." Well, the cellular service also uses the towers and it works fine so it appears that they may be deprioritizing my home internet service. I have read similar reports online so it appears that I am not alone. Has anyone experienced an improvement in service or is this the new normal for home internet?331Visto0likes2ComentariosRe: Buffering
I live in Riverview, FL and have been experiencing similar problems with buffering at varying times during day and night on all my Internet connected devices. This started about a week ago and continues. I have noticed that rebooting my gateway usually resolves the problem temporarily.36Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: cant connect to TV
According to the T-mobile rep that I spoke to when ordering the service, some streaming providers will not work with T-mobile Internet. I use YoutubeTV without any issues. I recommend calling T-mobile to determine if your TV streaming service is supported.6Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: garbage
Your signal strength is also impacted by your mobile phone. I have the latest iPhone 14 Pro and where T-Mobile has coverage it works very well, but there are dead spots where it doesn't matter which phone you have. Many people have older phones, more than two years old, and many of these phones do not support all of the newer bands that T-Mobile implemented after the merger with Sprint.2Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Anyone else having problems since switching to T-Mobile?
I recently switched from Verizon to T-Mobile with the Magenta Max 55+ Plan. I ported my Verizon number and kept my Apple iPhone 14 Pro. So far, I am very pleased with the service. I live in the outskirts of Tampa, FL where many Verizon towers were overloaded and I had trouble getting a usable signal for data, No so with T-Mobile and I am saving $30/month! I believe that many of the problems people are experiencing with the T-Mobile service are related to equipment. I would recommend purchasing a new unlocked phone, as I did when I was with Verizon, from Apple. I can take my phone to any carrier because the iPhone 14 Pro supports all the latest and legacy frequencies out there. Apple has very good trade in plans and zero cost financing. Other manufacturers may have similar plans and when you purchase from the manufacturer you are not locked into a specific carrier.1Ver0likes0Comentarios
