Re: Price Lock
As you can see, this company hasn't learned from its past practices. This current price hike is for "us" to pay for their naughty behavior. Maybe the California Attorney General will haul their back into court again. This time he should he should bring criminal charges! Enough of this settling for money. https://oag.ca.gov/news/press-releases/attorney-general-bonta-announces-1025-million-settlement-against-att-verizon-and3Visto0likes0Comentarios- 10Visto0likes0Comentarios
Re: Slammed from 55 Plus Lifetime Plan to One 55 Without Authorization
Oh yes, it happened to us. Back in the fall of 2017, we changed over to T-Mobile after seeing an ad for a 55+ $60 2 line account that would last for the life of our service. Well recently they have decided to no longer honor that agreement. This is a real case of false advertising. T-Mobile has gone to great lengths to scrub the www of any mention of this plan. Google "T-Mobile $60 for life" and it cannot be found anywhere. I have noticed that they have purged many threads on this forum regarding this. Last week there were at least 3 threads discussing this issue and now I can't find them. What have they to hide? They are doing all that may be necessary to avoid a class action on this matter. Very sneaky of them! The offer was that you had to sign up for autopay, which we did. Now, they avoid honoring this by saying that the the plan 'was no longer available when you signed up'. The advertisement is what brought me to T-Mobile. Deceptive advertising practices? We think so and we won't just roll over for them.6Visto1like0ComentariosRe: T-Mobile breaking promises to seniors who were offered price-lock guarantee for life on 55+ rate plans
With autopay, you get the deal. Ok, sign me up!!! I did in November 2017. What a fool I was. Worse, I sold this to my friends. Might lose those friends? Thanks T-Mobile3Visto2likes0Comentarios- 3Visto1like0Comentarios
Re: Price Lock
It appears T-Mobile has spent an enormous amount of resources on scrubbing the web of any mention of their "55+ For Life" plan, that was available back in the fall of 2017. I have searched far and wide to find any mention of it on the web, to no avail. Very clever these people! I'm posting two screenshots I took back in 2017. These advertisements are what brought me to T-Mobile. What a great plan! NEVER having to worry about those pesky rate increases for the rest of my life. Today, this appears to be false and deceptive advertising. I intend to take this to the Chairman of the Board. If no satisfaction is given, I will start legal proceedings. Back in 11/2017, I shared these ad's with several friends, with many of them switching to T-Mobile based on the ad's and my recommendation. I and many others have been made fools of and we shouldn't let that stand. I have filed a complaint with the FCC. I hope that those of you, that have been fooled, will too. Good luck to us all! This is a screen shot I took back on November 30th, 2017. This advertisement is what brought me to T-Mobile. What a great plan! NEVER having to worry about those pesky rate increases for the rest of my life. This is deceptive and false advertising. I intend to take this to the Chairman of the Board. If no satisfaction is given, I will start legal proceedings. I have been made a fool of and I won't stand for that. What's even worse, back in 11/2017, I shared this ad with several friends, with many of them switching to T-Mobile on my recommendation. What an ass I am!!!3Visto2likes0Comentarios
