Discount gone when using JUMP?

Got it, thanks. Then I don't see the benefit of JUMP! other than device protection (which I would then like to pay separately). My current S22 Ultra received a $800 discount via 24 credits, which reduced my monthly cost. I'd rather keep that (granted, it's not guaranteed that I'll get that discount after I pay the device) than taking $529 today and loose that monthly discount.
