Phone upgrade issue
I am trying to upgrade my wifes phone online, and every time I choose "no protection coverage" the website resets and asks me again if I want protection. I can't seem to skip this part. I am being forced to buy something I DO NOT WANT OR NEED. I am going to assume this is a bug, and nothing nefarious.
If anyone has a solution, please tell me. I talked to a rep and they had no idea what I was even talking about. If I had time, I would go in to a store, but I do not.

I found the only solution so far: add the protection, then remove it from the final order.
If anyone else has this problem: that's how you get around it.

I've been trying to upgrade my phone but everyone who comes on the online chat support doesn't know what they're doing and makes you wait, I've been in the chat waiting almost 2 hours and it went no where! None of the chat support rep seem to know what they're doing!

T-Mobile is the most bullshittest phone company I've every experinced!! I was woth sprint for 12 years and financed 5 phones and now that thece merged with sprint I'm not eligible for an upgrade because of the system won't allow it. I've had 7 teams memevwr tell me different stores promising to write a ticket and have it sent up, and a promise to call back woth no one calling. The level of u professionalism is ridiculous and the lies their team members tell over the phone is extremely horrible I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE. They forced me to stay with them after but an employ lies stating if I paid my bil I was eligible to get my upgrade and after she got my money then she tells me I'm not eligible it's a problem woth the system. I never had a problem with Sprint but things the worst company they wanted me to pay 1300 down for an upgrade

T-mobile will literally scM you out your money not give you a straight answer, beat around the bush and do absolutely nothing to help the customer for problems they create.

The T-.mobile teck support that I call doesn't understand,aknowledge or assist 'Standard' account for someone with a separate primary account holder.My account had been given assistance at this Top Tier,non primary status For the first few month of service,no problem at all for everything ecept the protected financial information.If I were to get a technical problem that cost no money I was helped.Now I am asked to beg to be given financial access to the account of the person who gifted me an account to use as well as the device..The tech person calls him,annoys him and makes our relationship strained.I don't want to be involved in his financial t-mobile financial information. The phone is literally not the same configuration as when the contract started.Conversation with the t mobile people is useless 90% of time. Please do not promise Standarrd membership if you are unable to enforce or honor it. Thank you s guss
