Visual voicemail / dual sim

I have a workaround but it's not ideal and I want a better solution to this problem. What I did was go into T-Mobile account settings and enable access through digits to my 2nd line then downloaded the digits app, signed in and turned on just that line and turned on do not disturb so calls and texts wouldn't notify twice then get voicemails through digits but like I said I want a better solution to this problem
