Why is it so difficult to redeem the Keep and Switch Promo?
9 times out of 10 when I go to https://www.switch2t-mobile.com/ either the site is down for maintenance, I can’t log in (get some message about “sorry our wires are crossed..”) or after I enter my phone number I get some bogus message like “Sorry, there was an issue while processing your request.” or “you are not eligible for Carrier Freedom” (I’m entering my info in the Keep and Switch field).
After I finally got in several weeks ago and submitted my claims, two of them were denied for no apparent reason. After an hour of chat and on the phone with support they acknowledged that this was a mistake and corrected it. Fast forward to today when I get a text that "we've corrected your Switcher reimbursement ammount.." And I can't get anywhere on the https://www.switch2t-mobile.com/ site. Am I on the wrong page? I feel like T-Mobile is intentionally making this challenging. That or whoever is managing this site is completely incompetent.

Having the same issue. I was told at the authorized dealer this was submitted. Followed up 3 weeks later and was told to submit , did so in 5.5.22 and still cannot get an answer. Jumped through all their hoops.
Perhaps a social media campaign will get some resolution.

https://www.switch2t-mobile.com/ Having the same failure, always says 'carrier promotion not applicable", but I doing the switch not carrier. Can a T-Mobile customer service person respond. I hope this is not a bait and switch scam, which is ironically called "switch" for a reason?

Going through the same thing right now and still getting the same information you are a month later. Did you ever get your virtual card? It was the only reason I switched to T-mobile as their reception in my area is not great. If they don't come through, I'm switching right back.

the site here is primarily peer to peer with a handful of admins/moderators that keep the site in order only..they do not have account access. your only bets when it comes to contacting TMO is either calling in (tier 1 support) or by contacting them through either Facebook/Twitter (tier 2 support).

I have spent over three hours and multiple phone calls. So far reps have resubmitted my keep and switch claim 3 times. Each time they have assured successful payment. The third submission currently shows as denied as well. Three months have past since initial submission … still waiting.
I am beyond frustrated.
Verizon was difficult to deal with, and expensive, but at least I did not feel like I fell for a bait and switch … or bait and ghost as the case seems so far.

I think I will be sorry I switched carriers. i submitted all of the paperwork to get my reimbursement for paying off my phone/ but it sounds like the wait times may be quite lengthy.
Another poor sales tactic!

Today is June 3, 2024, and I'm experiencing the "Submitted for Processing..." and the page does not progress further/I cannot get to the "your submission has been accepted." message. This has been going on for 3 days now…
I switched 3 lines, and you know the “up to $800 per line to keep and switch” is going to catch up on my next VZ bill… that’s $2,400.
T-Mobile -- please help with processing my claim submission… I’ve been on the phone for 3 hours with 5 different reps, and no success. - teero123Network Novice
