Why is T-Mobile's customer support now so poor?
Customer support used to be great.
Now there is no live chat option. Only phone support. The hold times are outrageously long. When I do finally get to talk to a rep they are quite rude and uninterested in helping.
Also, the 5G coverage in my town is terrible. I get only one bar of reception.
I’m considering moving all 4 of my lines to another carrier.
you can also contact TMO via one of their social media platforms like Facebook/Twitter at the bottom of this page.
just send them a direct message..do not post on their main page.

Have you tried contacting Tmobile support using live chat? Scroll down to the support tab below this post and click on it. If live chat is available a window will appear. BTW I called the 611 numberand and I was immediately connected, canceled my sync up tracker and done within 5 minutes.

I can get 5G service when I drive ½ mile from my house toward town, but can’t even get 4G light at my house.
Live Chat gives you an option to download your problem, question or complaint to have in case your issue with T-Mobile isn’t resolved, no matter how many times you complain about it.
By downloading your chat transcripts you have proof that your problem etc. either has or hasn’t been handled to your satisfaction.
So, they have very limited hours now, if you can even get chat to complete. Most of my chats were interrupted before we even finished.
T-Mobile has gotten so big now they just don’t care about good customer service anymore unless your are upgrading your phone or service or buying a new phone.

The direct message function on the TMO Facebook page is gone. They replaced it with a direct link to the TMO 'contact us' web page...

I just clicked on the Facebook icon under the follow us section and it took me to their Facebook page. Click the 3 buttons on the right and an option to message them will pop up.

I'm on a web browser and the DM option isn't anywhere to be found. Are you on the FB app?

No on my phone. Don't have a Facebook account.

If you have a device and the T-Mobile app … you can use the contact us messaging feature (top right hand corner)

That chat function now seems to only go to the overseas customer support. They're always kind and enthusiastic, but they all seem to have absolutely no authority to do anything.
I miss the Local Team of Experts that now seem to be shut down.
