Internet

Why does the Internet service go off so often at night?? When you try to stream tv service and your Internet goes off randomly every night or really turns into a pain. I've had AT&T, Verizon, cricket, boost... None of them would drop Internet every week like T-Mobile does. It's not just the phones either it's the home Internet too... Really???

I did the online tech support. Turns out the router is bad, they did a patch over the network to keep it going while a new modem ships out. Supposedly a global issue with the modem/router. Their replacing the old set up for free.I would suguest going that route on the main account page.

Which gateway model do you have?

    Sagemcom 5G HINT Gateway

Got the new modem yesterday. This one is just as bad. The difference between the 2 are the new one shuts down and restarts about every 15 minutes. They did get it to me fast. I'm going to return this one directly to the store and see if they will give me a new one.

I haven't had this issue myself.  I've been using the Arcaydan older model.

Is the signal typically ‘good’ or better (as seen from the app) ?

Does your device get warm ?

Ok,took the new Sagemcom back to the store this time. They gave me new Arcadyan kvd21. Put the old sim card in it and it seems to be working fine. A  couple of questions I have with the one that got shipped. It wasn't wrapped in the box with any type of protective cover and it didn't come with a power cord. It seemed like after connecting it up that it might have been a refurbished unit. The box itself had a green dot on the lid. The Arcadyan came wrapped in a peice of plastic and with a power supply. If their shipping refurbished units, they should let you know. After this,I think any problems and the equipment goes streight back to the store instead of getting it replaced via online.

I couldn’t tell you.  I picked this one up at a T-Mobile store last December ($25/month special) and haven’t returned it or had any real issues.

The first sagemcon I picked up at the T-Mobile store when I signed up last Feb.It ran fine until a couple of weeks ago. Had I known I could have just gone to the store and exchanged it the other day,I would have gone that route.

It is time to change providers, at least twice a week at night I have no service. It is interfering with my work.
