Mobile hotspot not displaying
Been trying to activate my mobile hotspot on a Galaxy Flip 3. I have the T mobile account with hotspot usage available. I have turned off the battery saver, flipped the airplane mode on/off, updated all files, activated the hotspot, added it to the networks, etc. Short of swinging a chicken over my head I think I covered all the bases. Still the hot spot does not appear on my listing of wifi networks. What am I missing?

Hola,
It sounds like you've tried several troubleshooting steps already! Let's explore a few more options to get your mobile hotspot working on your Samsung Galaxy Flip 3:
Check Hotspot Settings:
Make sure the mobile hotspot feature is enabled. You can find this in your phone's settings under "Connections" or "Network & Internet."
Verify that you have the correct data plan with hotspot usage included. Some carriers require an additional hotspot plan.
If you’ve recently changed carriers, tethering may not work until the function updates with your new carrier.
Verify Mobile Data:
Ensure that mobile data is enabled and working properly on your phone.
If you’re using a VPN service, disable it temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
Toggle Airplane Mode:
Turn on and off airplane mode to reset your connection.
Reboot Your Phone:
Sometimes a simple reboot can refresh network settings.
Turn Off Battery Saver:
Battery saver mode can sometimes block certain features. Disable it and check if the hotspot appears.
Check High-Speed Data Usage:
Confirm that you haven’t exceeded your high-speed data limit.
Billing Status:
Ensure your account is in good standing with your carrier.Hope this will help you.

It sounds like you've tried a lot of the common troubleshooting steps for activating your mobile hotspot on the Galaxy Flip 3. Since the hotspot doesn't appear on your Wi-Fi networks list, here are a few additional steps that might help:
-
Check Data Usage and Plan: Ensure that your T-Mobile plan still includes hotspot data. Sometimes, if you've exceeded your data cap, the hotspot functionality can be restricted.
-
Check Network Band Settings: The Wi-Fi hotspot can broadcast on different frequency bands. Visita Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering > Mobile Hotspot and under Configurar HotSpot móvil, switch the Banda de AP between 2.4GHz and 5GHz to see if it appears on your network.
-
Restablecer la configuración de redes: Try resetting your network settings. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This won't delete your data but will reset Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile settings.
-
Try Different Device: If possible, test the hotspot on another device to rule out device-specific issues.
-
Check with T-Mobile: There could be an issue with the service activation on T-Mobile's side. Contact their support to ensure that the hotspot feature is correctly provisioned on your account.
-
Actualizar las configuraciones del proveedor: Sometimes carrier updates are required for hotspot functionality. Visita Settings > Software update to check if there's a carrier update available.
If none of these steps work, try reaching out to Samsung or T-Mobile for further troubleshooting!
