Pepwave Router Question
I just purchased a Pepwave Max BR1 mini H3 for my RV. I assumed I could move the Sim from my iPad to the router. When I did this everything connected fine and good signal strength. But the speed is terrible. < .5mbps. Up and Down. When tested against my iPhone which was more like 10mbps Up and Down. I don't think it's the device because it connects okay. I assumed data was data and the Sim would work in the router. Any suggestions would help. I'm a newby without a clue.

Yep, highly doubtful that Tmobile is going to give unlimited high speed hotpot data on a tablet plan that only costs $20 per month. Even the most expensive phone plan only gives 50 GB of high speed per month before throttling to 3G.

This is effectively working, HOWEVER, you're now using it as a wireless hotspot. Hotspots are typically limited (with many plans) to '3G' speeds. If your router had a screen and keyboard, it might actually get 10Mbps.

That may very well be the case. Although t-mobile advertises two 5g capable hot spots on their website.

Yes but all Tmobile hotspot plans are metered with the max being 10 GB of 5G for $30 per month.
