Router thinks I'm in Colorado

My router thinks Im in Colorado.   Im watching Sling and keep seeing commercials in CO. I've also lost NBC.  Im in the DFW market which includes NBC.

Numerous discussions  here about this issue, It’s not the router, but rather your content provider - Sling.

You'll find some related topics in the sidebar over there. Search the community for Hulu+ Live and you'll have reading material for the weekend:

Hulu+ Live generates the most discussion on this topic but the same issue for Sling, FUBO, and some others.

  • Your IP address is not supposed to imply a physical location but some content providers misconnect the two.

  • I am having the same issue, as I get ads n live news flashes for Pittsburg on my streaming TV. But also on my cell phone, have to constantly change my zip code area from PA to my actual area in KY. Do it must be my wifi settings. I just switched to TMobile Internet/wifi, and and going to have to call now as I found no answer yet to fix myself.Good luck with your issue!
