why does t mobile suck
- I can be in Chicago, south bend or Indianapolis and have full 5G bars with absolute no service.
- There is no reason, if I have 3 bars on 5G, why my text messages will not go through.
- I have been trying for 2 hours to clock back into my Workforce App, with absolutely no luck. Outside, inside, on the balcony, on top of my truck, out in the middle of the road and up at the Clubhouse. All 5G and absolutely no signal.
- If yall tell me again “turn your phone off”.. how about yall stop lying about the service you provide.

Before I moved to Arizona I lived in Illinois south of Chicago without any major issues, had to go to Indy and the South Bend area occasionally for work with no problems except around the Goshen area was spotty at times.

I've consistently been experiencing poor service with T-Mobile on Sacramento, CA and in Tucson, AZ. Both these areas have excellent access to towers but it doesn't matter because I still get messages 14 hrs after they were sent to me. I had an important business call scheduled for 8:00 am this morning. There is no record of incoming calls on my call log yet they left a v/m at 8:09 am. Wth, it's just completely unacceptable for the country's largest carrier to provide crummy service especially since they've bought the majority of their competition. Really thinking Verizon may not be so bad after all.

The Customer UnCare Department and the Sales Department has the worst customer service. One rep tells you one thing and says they will follow back up with you and they don't. Then the next person you talk to tells you know to trust them, and they will take care of it and follow back up which they don't. Just the biggest waste of time and I am regretting on moving over to them. Big warned about changing to T-Mobile, go somewhere else

My response to a T-Mobile survey after talking to their UN CUSTOMER friendly department.
I ported 6 lines over from Verizon. Your rep in the store stated they put a block on international calling on one line that I requested. 6 months later I see charges on that same line.
When I called your service team, first the agent had no idea you could block international outbound calls. After I read her statements from a Google search stating this can be done, she came back and said it could be done. 25 minutes of my life wasted.
Then I asked for a credit for the international call charges because of the error by the store not putting up that service, and instead of apologizing for their error, or for the time it took her to learn about this feature, she said nothing but refused to provide the courtesy credit.
To make matters worse I asked to be transfered to a manager and prior to the transfer can hear the rep type to the manager messages presumably telling them not to help.
I get on the phone with the manager who would only identify herself as "Tonia Offline Management" not only refused to give the credit but blame me for the error of the store stating, "it's been 6 months since you signed up for T-Mobile and had time to confirm the feature was turned on". Really? Without knowing there was an issue until I got billed, how and why would I even go and check?
WORSE customer experience from your company. It's been 6 months and we NEVER had a problem or dealt with service like this at Verizon.
Going back to Verizon and never looking back.

We can assume you have had your phone checked?

TBH, I had no issues with T-Mobile in Chicago, and up through West Bend WI, Green Bay up to the Michigan border. UP of Michigan (outside of I-75) is horrible though.

Up until recently I've been having strange issues with voice intermittently not working. I have a SIM unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S24 phone. I'm using a T-Mobile eSIM. The issue I'm having is my phone would be on 5G Standalone (UC). Someone would call me and the call would go straight to voicemail. If they called me enough my phone would finally drop to LTE and the call would come through. Just by chance I toggles the eSIM off and back on. After that in the Mobile Networks settings menu the option for Voice over NR showed up. I also started getting 5G carrier aggregation after turning the eSIM off and on. Strangely powering the phone off and on didn't do any of this.
