LANDLINE PHONE

Wife MUST have a landline phone for a heart pacemaker monitor. Is a landline possible when switching to T-Mobile?

  • T-Mobile does not offer landline service.  T-Mobile's phone services are all cellular.  T-Mobile's Home Internet uses the same cell towers as the cellular service.  These do not impact any landline services you have.

VOIP lines are not landlines!  They rely on the internet to work and aren't usually compatible with TMHI.

I have read some posts in this forum indicating that they could not get VOIP to work with the T-Mobile gateway.  For a critical need, you probably don't want to take a chance or be aggravated fighting with it.

@ZHMMY we assume that you already have landline service through ATT or alike.

Yes, you can have a landline in parallel with TM home internet service. You can answer calls on the landline and use Tam for internet access.
