Wi-Fi extenders for the T-Mobile gateway
Is there Wi-Fi extenders with a Gigabit port that are compatible with the T-Mobile gateway. I do not want to use a mesh network or a separate router. Only looking to extend the T-Mobile gateways Dual...

Can anyone recommend a sure-fire wifi extender that is easily connected to the Gateway?
This is not true. The TP-Link model that you referenced in your other post is about 10 years old from launch and only works on 2.4 Ghz wifi. The problem with any 2.4G device that old is that it cannot be configured when your wifi gateway uses the same SSID for both 2.4G and 5G. This is because those devices require the use of a separate device to configure with the caveat that the extender and the device are on the same wifi band. Since these older devices have no recognition of 5 Ghz you must create separate SSID for your 5 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz bands so you can manually select the 2.4 Ghz SSID on your device that you are using to configure the extender. Most of the time its a mobile app from your smartphone.
