You can give T-Mobile's Home Internet Support a call and they will send you out that replacement gateway at no cost.

If your provided router is not functioning correctly, Tmobile will send you a new unit at no cost. You don't own the equipment, but the "rental" fee is part of your monthly plan fees. Contact home internet tech support to start the process. One thing that you cannot do is request a specific model. Tmobile will send you whatever they have in stock but usually the same model for a defective unit replacement.
