How to extend the deadline to turn in the old phone after upgrade
Hello - I requested a new iphone as an upgrade for my daughter currently in college away from home. The phone arrived in 9/19/2024 in my place. I plan to visit her by end of October, and give her the new phone, activate at that time and then turn in the old phone. However, I received a message reminding me to turn in the old phone by 10/17. Otherwise will lose the trade-in value. I booked my train ticket on 10/30 already and want to keep that timeline. I called Tmobil for help but was told the trade-in deadline is built in the system and they can't change it.
All I want is to have the trade-in date extended by 2 weeks. The new phone is not even activated yet as my daughter is still using her old phone currently.
Anyone has some idea how to solve the issue? all advice will be appreciated.

The trade-in deadline is created by the system for a third party return company. Because of that, it can't be altered. Can you ship your daughter the new device and the return instructions for her old one so it can get done before the deadline?
You can try reaching out to the T-Force Team by sending T-Mobile a DM on either Facebook or Twitter to see if there is anything they can do, but it is very unlikely the deadline can be altered.
