I have had TMobile home internet for quite some time now. I have two Insignia Fire Tv's that were working just fine with the home internet up until a month ago. They will connect but it says there is no internet, which definitely isn't the case because I have a Samsung smart TV and my bedroom TV's Roku connected to it and both are working perfectly. The speeds are super fast and the connection is very good. I have my network split into 5 and 2.5 and neither works on the Fire TV's. Does anyone know why this is? I factory reset the Fire TV's but that didn't seem to do anything- I even connected them to my phones hot spot so that they could update. My phones hotspot connected well for updating them but it's not fast enough to stream. If anyone has any answers I would appreciate it!Solved6.7KViews1like12ComentariosAmazon TV Promotion
OK, its been over 10 weeks since the deadline for the TV Promotion. From the posts I've read, no one has recieved their e-mail notification and is getting no help from "customer service". When i can get through to "customer service" (3 hours)they do verify that i have a validapplication for the promotion. T-mobile wants their money from you, on time or earlier, but seems to feel no obligation to fullfil their responsibilities in a timely maner. Just imagine what would happen if i told T-Mobile wait ten weeks and maybe I'llsend you some money. :-) I realize that the upfront costs of a class action suit is not worth it for TV, but might be to teach them a lesson.Solved2.8KViews0likes16Comentarios16 weeks and waiting! for the promised Amazon TV.
Hey T-Mobile TV, it has been 16+ weeks. I signed up during the Thanksgiving promotions for Home Internet. The Amazon promotion was applied for in December, and was approved sometime in Jan. Since then no emails has come for redeeming the Amazon TV. So what gives! What's the next step you are expecting from me? Or not doing from your end?Solved140Visto1like2ComentariosHELP - Can't Connect Amazon Fire TV to Gateway
So Amazon Fire TV streaming device should be a simple connection, but I can't get it to connect to internet. According to my Amazon instructions -- I can connect using the ethernet hardwire connection to the T-Mobile Gateway and follow network setting prompts. But after following the prompts and entering the numbers that appear on the screen, I get a failure to connect to internet message. I've searched online and YouTube vids and I've yet to find anything showing how to remedy this specifically. If I can't get the streaming device to connect, I might as well return the device and go back to my cable modem with Optimum since it was working fine with that. Perhaps I originally posted this in the wrong group. so, I'm posting once more in here in the Streaming discussion. All my devices work well with the T-Mobile home Internet. However, my Amazon Firestick, running Amazon Prime Video, is choppy. Audio and video do not sync up. Streaming starts and stops. Other services appear to work well through the Firestick (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). Although, there is sometimes a delay in moving through menus Streaming Amazon Prime Video on my laptop is not a problem at all. Streaming on tablets is not a problem at all. Amazon Prime Video only seems to have a problem when streaming through my Amazon Firestick.182Visto1like1Comentario
