Does T Mobile still support 2G phones or older phones and their 2G network? Is the LG B470 from AT&T still supported on T Mobile's 2G network? Can I use the LG B470 from AT&T on a 2G network with T Mobile? Hello, T-Mobile has my LG K8model phone listed as an older LG K7 model with an older os. I am getting a lot of apps being "non-compatible" with the phone. LG V60 ThinQ frequently disconnects from 5GHz WiFi networks and will not reconnect or even see the network until I reboot the phone. No other devices experience this issue with my router / network. I have performed extensive troubleshooting restarting every component, changing the wireless broadcast channel on my router, etc. which does not resolve the issue. This started on one family member's V30 yesterday and another today. This affects more than one LG model. Obviously T-mobile has changed something in the network. Etc, etc. including all suggested on the internet and above thread with no success. I would advise against making any changes until an official response is issued from someone with sufficient knowledge to understand what network-wide changes were made and explain how to correct the problem or how T-mobile intends to correct the problem. I received a text from T-mobile about a fix being released (by LG) for the LG IMS has stopped error. Read the instructions here: t-mo.co/LGIMS From your list of apps, tap theSettingsgear. Either selectSystemor choose theGeneraltab. ChooseUpdate Center>App Updates. SelectDownload for LG IMS Improvedand wait for the update to complete. Press and hold thePowerkey, then choose to restart your device. I'm not seeing the update yet but it may be a propagation issue (IOW, it'll show up soon). The instructions were a little confusing in 1 because it says from the list of apps. Basically open the settings app then System then Update Center then App Updates. I was able to find a solution that works. Turn off your Wi-Fi and keep it off or the box "LG IMS has stopped"will pop back up. Simply repeat the steps below to remove it again. You can navigate the phone with the message "LG IMS has stopped" just click any space on your phone screenaround the box.. It will reappear in about three seconds so you will go a bit slower until youcomplete the steps below. Steps to clear LG IMS has stopped box Go to settings>storage//internal storage>other apps>hit three dots in upper right hand corner...>show system>scroll to find, com.lge.ims.rcsprovider (was not in order on my phone)>clear data/cache. My phone started with a problem today showing a message every 30 seconds(LG IMS keeps stopping) and I can't make any phone call ,I need my phone for my job tomorrow morning. I know this is a Tmobile problem so please this happened the last year and they force me to buy a new one .
