22 TopicsGood signal/bars but no network connection many times daily
Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings are set how tmobile and other people have said they should be. I don't have Wi-Fi so I'm set to always use mobile data. What now? Or will I just have to suffer through. It's prob just some tmobile network problem that's with the new 5g. I guess that's what I get buying a new phone. ¿Tienes alguna idea?88KViews22likes79ComentariosCellular data not working in Chicago area.
My cellular data (iPhone14 pro)has been going in and out and if it's even working it's extremely slow. A speed test hit a high of 20mps. My phone will show full 5Guc butnot load and and disconnect from the internet. It will switchbetween 5Guc, 5G, LTE, E, and SOS mode.Using WiFi there are zero issues. Ialso was ona Sprint plan and upgraded to a tmobile plan for "premium data". It's been this way overa month now in the Chicago area. Anyone else having these issues?86Visto1like2Comentarios5G and LTE Drops Intermittently
I have a Samsung Galaxy 24+, and before that 23+. I'm experiencing both 5G and LTE drop simultaneously and intermittently, even though my location has not changed. What I'm left with is a full 5 bar cell signal (2G?) that can't send/receive TEXT messages! It's a mystery as to why this is happening but if I wait a bit of time it self corrects. The end result is that I'm unable to reliably receive or send text messages - depending on whether this issue is happening. Given how often sites are now wanting to leverage two-factor identification this is a problem! Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I found the following URL which describes the bandwidth used by 4G LTE. https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/t-mobile-network Frequencies that can provide LTE: Band 2 (1900 MHz) Band 5 (850 MHz) Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz) Band 66 (Extension of band 4 on 1700/2100 MHz). For LTE-M (CAT-M1), which bandwidth will be used? Gracias.1.3KViews0likes4ComentariosIs it possible to activate an international model Apple Watch (Series 6 or 7) on a T-Mobile plan?
I need to upgrade my Apple Watch, and due to near-future plans,I know I will need theLTE bands from an international model more than I need the unique US model ones now. However, it would be nice to upgrade now and use it in here in the meanwhile. I realize I will be missing one of the extended range LTE T-Mobile bands, but I don't think that will affect me much. Anyway, the question is, has anybody activated (or does anyone know if T-Mobile will allow us to)an international model Apple Watchon a watch line? It should technically be possible, but I've read that some carriers in other countries don't allow US models to be activated whileothers do, so I'm wondering what the T-Mobile policy is.116Visto0likes2ComentariosIs the problem my old or t-mobile network?
Hello! I currently have an iPhone SE 2020 and use T-Mobile connect with 6 GB of data. I normally don't use all 6. Occasionally while driving or trying to use the internet, my internet stops completely. I may have full bars and LTE showing it is on, but I can't use my phone for anything including sending texts. I live in Iowa City, Iowa, which is a pretty populated area and should have 99.9% coverage at least according to the map. The biggest issue is when I am driving and need to use GPS. I have gotten lost in new areas at night because of this. Meanwhile my work phone (iPhone 12 with Verizon) is able to connect just fine as long as I have it on me. If I don't have it on me, I am unable to find directions, contact family or friends to tell them where I am, or use the internet to search for help. Is the problem my old phone or lack of coverage? If it's coverage, I am switching to Verizon despite T-Mobile claiming I have coverage everywhere including these dead spot areas. Please let me know what I can do. I am upgrading my phone to an iPhone 11 Pro soon and need to know if I need to switch to another Network.I have been very happy with T-Mobile otherwise, especially the low price for prepaid data. Thank you!!!Solved468Visto0likes10ComentariosHome Internet Gateway Needs Reboot Multiple Times Daily, Internet Access Dropping
Multiple times on most days, at no particular time of day, internet access stops working. Devices can still connect to the WiFi network, but there is no internet access on WiFi or wired until the device gets turned off and back on. In rare cases it might work itself out within a matter of hours, for example if I am not home to reboot it. It has been like this the entire time I've had it, and it causes parts of my security system not to work, as well as stops my crypto mining that my PC does when I'm not using it, therefore actively costing me money when I'm not home to babysit the gateway (eg, at work). I really, reallywant to stick with T-Mo but I'll have to sign up with the local cable monopoly if uptime is this bad.19KViews24likes46ComentariosLosing 2.4G internet connection
I use LTE routers to connect to 6 digital signs in different locations where there is no local wi-fi network. I set routers up to stay on (no sleep), 2.4 broadcast only, and a 2 GB limitation per month to match up with my data plan. For two months these worked fine. Now 5 out of the 6 are emitting a wi-fi signal but no connection to the internet. I have not exceeded data usage. Bill is automatically paid. Is there a set-up setting / process I have missed?37Visto0likes0ComentariosTower upgrades taking weeks to complete?
I started having issues a couple of days ago and when I called they stated that the towers in my area are being upgraded. I asked how long this would take as I had no service for several days. They stated 3 to 4 weeks! How is this acceptable in this day and age for technology upgrades to takes weeks and deny service to customers? I should have said this is a safety issue as I could not reliable make calls and if I had an emergency how could I expect to get help. This is a sad state of affairs T-Mobile.2.9KViews4likes9Comentarios
