I just don't understand the disconnect or differences in the 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G wireless generations and why 5G seems to be so different. I never had to second guess what my status bar is indicating. I have had "5G" connection issues on Apple, Samsung, and now Google devices. Random errors like "emergency calls only" or no signal whatsoever. Or full 5G UC access - yet I can dial my phone and watch it not ring or indicate a missed call. I can even send a text message or leave a voicemail and neither ever arrive. Thought this issue was limited to Samsung and Apple. Got a Pixel - same issue - so I think it's the Tech itself and/or the tower but not the devices. Had 5G + on my Pixel 6 - placed a call while out and it rang but left voicemail - nothing. Realized the voicemail didn't pop up - tried again - nothing. Then I got a "missed" call. Yet no ring. When asked, the person said it rang but it was a long delay, and it didn't seem like a regular ring. Not sure why this is but when 5G is enabled, at some point your device "disconnects" from the network and you have no idea you have missed any contact attempts. Turn 5G off? Walla! Issues are gone. Smh Did those two voicemails ever pop up? Nope! Still waiting. Imagine if someone called me during this time, left their dying will on my voicemail and I would not have any clue they called me, let alone that they left a message. Meanwhile my phone shows connected and full 5G access. T-Mobile engineers need to speak on this, and they need to stop this 5G push if it isn't even reliable. NEVER had to ponder if my device is connected or not with LTE. NEVER. I guess I will try 5G when 6G comes out ……….5KViews8likes14Comentariosissues with my Google pixel 6 Pro preorder?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this long post and to give me some help and advice. So I preordered a Google Pixel 6 Pro from T-Mobile's website, but I seem to be having a lot of issues with my order. What should I do? Because I have a feeling that I'm not going to receive my phone. That somewhere down the line you were just going to get canceled or they're going to claim that I never made an order. 1stoff when I tried to make the purchase on T-Mobile's website as soon as preorders became available, there was some type of technical issue that was confirmed by customer care who confirmed that with the IT department. Then about 3-4 hours later the website was working again and I was able to purchase the device. So after I completed the transaction I never received any confirmation email and any of my DocuSign emails that I should've received after placing the order. Which I was able to confirm on T-Mobile's website and through the app that I had an order processing. The order said that it was supposed to ship out on the 27th of October and then arrive to me in 1-2days. Then yesterday the order changed the shipping date from the 27th to the 28th. Now as of this morning (10-26), the order has completely disappeared from the T-Mobile app on the home screen, under the orders tab and on T-Mobile's website after logging into my account. On top of all this,I know people that ordered the device from the Google store, other carriers as well as T-Mobile and they've already received their device. My friend who has T-Mobile as well also preordered after me and already received his device.6.4KViews3likes64ComentariosIs the Google Pixel 6 better than the Samsung Galaxy S21?
Both companies are good at producing powerful handsets and it will really be difficult to say if the pixel 6 will be better than the s21. The pixel 6 is rumoured to have an amoled display, will surely run on the lastest android, will have a chipset based on 5nm technology, an Octa core cpu and 50 MP, (wide), PDAF, OIS 8 MP, f/3.4, (periscope telephoto), 1/4.0", PDAF, OIS, 5x optical zoom 16 MP, f/2.2, 107˚ (ultrawide), 1.0µm camera. From these specs that the pixel is rumoured to have, the s21 will still be worthy device to go for. The only thing the pixel might try to make better in the 6 is the camera which they never disappoint. From the specs of the s21 it will still be a better phone than the pixel 6. For us to be able to determine the better drvice between these 2 two devices lets wait for the pixel 6 to be launced so we can get specs of it.69Visto1like1ComentarioLTE is faster - Pixel 6
I have been having a HORRIBLE time keeping signal, my connection isn't always available, and my battery seems to drain super quick. I got a new Pixel 6, and thought maybe it was the phone, but didn't have that issue when I was with a carrier that used tmobile's lines, so I thought it was odd. I switched over to LTE and my connection is so so so much faster. Fast, like it used to be. I'm sticking with LTE. Besides every time I looked at my phone it would toggle 5G /UC, over and over. I'm sure that was draining my battery. Quick fix for a horrible problem. I almost switched carriers235Visto1like2Comentariospixel 6 WiFi issue
Why is the WiFi on the pixel 6 so horrible?? None of the updates have addressed or fixed it and I'm tired of having to use my data just to use this stupid phone. Once I'm done paying for this piece of crap it's back to the Samsung Galaxy for me. Losing over 10% battery at night, phone gets really hot. So many issues with a phone I was really excited to get. Is it just my phone.... Anyone else??198Visto1like9ComentariosWhat does your Pixel 6 / P6 Pro pre-order look like?
I paid off a "free" phone, upgraded my account and don't see the Pixel 6 Pro pre-order in my order status. Is this normal? If you have a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro pre-ordered, how does that appear on your account? Did you complete the device agreement signature, etc at time of pre-order? Customer service has provided an order number and assured the pre-order is in. It feels rather vague and a bit alarming that there is zero way to track the order, no way to know expected ship date, etc.Solved4.4KViews1like50Comentarios
