14 TopicsInquiry Regarding Prepaid eSIM Activation from Abroad
Dear T-Mobile community, I am reaching out to inquire about the possibility of purchasing and activating a prepaid line via eSIM, with a U.S. phone number, from abroad. I currently do not reside in the United States nor US citizen, but I require a U.S. phone number for certain services. I have reviewed T-Mobile website but could not find clear information on whether this process can be completed from outside the country without having to visit a physical store. Could you please provide details on the steps I need to follow or any additional requirements for acquiring and activating the service from abroad? Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to your response.151Visto0likes1ComentarioIs the smartwatch promo (galaxy6 classic) available for the $10 non-international plan?
I was looking at getting a smartwatch but from what I could tell of the offered promos it's only available with the $15/m plan. As far as I can tell the only difference between the plans is international data which is utterly useless for me since I live nowhere near the borders and likely won't be traveling anytime soon (who even has the money for that). Is there any option to use the regular plan or some great feature with the $15/m plan that's not stated for some reason. Love to simplify things and just buy from the service I'm going to use it on but I can't see a reason to pay and extra $120 over 2 years for features I can't realistically even use.45Visto0likes0ComentariosShame on you t-mobile
Last November, I signed up for the promotion where I provide 4 iphones to t-mobile, they provide 4 new iphone 15 and provide a service plan of $25/month per phone. The promotion had been running for many months, and just stopped recently. I setup for direct billing, and had not checked my bill a few months, but later saw that they are charging me double of what the promotion. THey claim that the sales person enrolled me in the wrong plan. Seems to me it they have sketchy sales tactics or incompetent sales people. Either way, the enrolled me an a plan that is twice the cost of what I should have had. I called their call center to escalate twice, they admit to making the mistake, but will not adjust the plan because I called "outside of their dispute window". I asked them to either allow me to cancel the contract, or give me a credit that compensate for the additional cost. Over the course of the 2 year agreement, the extra charge amounts to approximately an additional $2,500. I call the call center, wait 2 weeks for a response, and get no resolution. Today, I spent an hour on the phone, got redirected to a manager, and then that manager "transferred" me to another manager at which point I was hung up on. The call center has noability to do anything anyway. They admitted to the mistake many times, but will not make it right. Pretty poor customer service and shady or incompetent sales staff. At this point, my only recorse is small claims court. Looking for someone at t-mobile to step up and do the right thing and put me in the right plan. How would you like it if someone over billed you by $2,500. Not fair or worse shady practices.97Visto0likes0ComentariosMagenta Max v Go5G Plus
When you read the comparison of the Magenta Max and Go5G Plus plans, they appear to be the same except for theJUMP! vs New in Two. I did see a disclaimer that the autopay would discount will be changing. Anyone want to shed some light on that? Also, when I logged into my account, it said I have to call to get the price for Go5G. Why? I don't want to talk to customer service or be oversold on some nonsense I don't want or need. Give me the price, let me do the research and make a self-informed decision.18KViews0likes3ComentariosTrade in benefits on new Go5G Plus
I'm currently on Magenta amplified familyplanbut now i don't see any big difference betweenGo5G Plus plan and now i was looking to buy a phone with trade in but cant get full benefit of deal. What a total BS , magenta plan is retired and now to get trade in benefits i need to upgrade toGo5G plans to avail all benefits. Planning to buy flip 5 , with flip 3 trade in , now withGo5G plan i would get $1000 as trade in credit but now magenta is not there i can't get that same benefit for trade in... I feel if i'm not max plan previously i should at least get the latest plan benefits as there is no significant difference in plan benefits but huge difference in price. Been with T-Mobile for 9 years now. Any one else feel same ? Any way to get those trade in benefits without changing plan to Go5G.717Visto0likes0ComentariosStand Alone Apple watch
Hello, I purchased an Iwatch SE (with Cellular service capability) for my son. I also setup a phone line for a STAND ALONE number for the Iwatch itself. I do not have any active line Iphones in my account. I do have a test Iphone 7 plus (not an active line) I know you need to go through the initial setup (and install apps) from an Iphone. I am also hearing that the iphone needs to be an active line. (Confirming is true) My goal is to use my dummy iphone (which does not have a active line with tmobile)to setup the iwatch and then once it is done, I am able to call my son from his Iwatch phone number and also track him on wheres my apple device app? Is there any possibility to have this "Stand Alone" Iwatch (which has its own number) but NOT have an active Iphone (with a phone number)? I Am trying to avoid to pay for another line just get my son's iwatch to work as a phone. What I am hearing is it needs to have an active Iphone line just to get the iwatch to work with service ? (I am hoping this is not the case) My son has his own Apple ID so I am happy to use the dummy phone to setup his iwatch. Let me know if there is anyway I can get around this WITHOUT me purchasing another service line from Tmobile. I've had 3 key features I had as a sprint customer stripped away already, my phone bill skyrocketed to $300+ a month(with sprint it was $180 with tax), and I'm half expectingmy unlimited data to either be stripped next or forced to accept a jacked up rate at some point… Are you going to do anything more to make me want to switch back to Verizon as soon as my phone contract is upT-Mobile? Hell, I never wanted to be your customer in the first place but then you went and bought out sprint so I had little say in the matter. You even went as far as to keep the sprint site up for a year to lure unsuspecting customers like me in with a binding 3yr contract under the guise it was still apart of the Galaxy forever plan…except if i had read that fine print I'd of realized you merely leff the logo on there to trick people like me into getting locked in when the fine print said this wasn't the same plan. So why am i posting here? Simple: You have until the end of my 3yr contract to convince me you're more than a money grubbing company who gives the most basic features for jacked up rates. How might you ask? Again, simple: Provide me with features and/or benefits that can be INCLUDED with my plan for a MODEST additional fee and not that crappy netflix or sports channels anyone with cable can get INCLUDED for their service, I'm talking give me my amazon prime included with my plan back, give me disney+, ya know the GOOD video websites. Give me visual voicemail INCLUDED in my plan at no extra cost or at a very low rate, like sprint did. Give me features that will make me want to stay, if you need ideas look no farther than many of Sprint's business models. I'm expecting this post to vanish shortly after its posted, mods trying to get rid of bad PR posts like these no doubt except you've already managed that on your own by screwing over your sprint user customer base. Anyways, I'm waiting T-Mobile, convince me to stay or i'm gone when my contract is up...714Visto0likes2Comentarios
