I recently just purchased the T-Mobile Home internet service but upon turning on the device at home, instead of automatically going to a software update or displaying the connection signal strength, it gave me an error saying "No USIM". At first I thought there was no sim card in the device. After checking the sim card holder, there was in fact a sim card installed. After many calls to T-Mobile's customer service team, no troubleshooting step they gave me worked. I have tried turning it on and off, factory reset, uninstalling and reinstalling the sim card, and still the same "No USIM" error occurs. After many unsuccessful attempts, I eventually just called and ordered a new sim card. New sim card comes in, not surprisingly doesn't work. At this point of writing, I am considering taking the device back to the original store I received it from and getting a replacement router. Any idea how to fix my problem before I take the device back to the store? My device is the Cylinder 5GNokia Router btw.Solved12KViews2likes8ComentariosTransfer / migrate from the physical sim to eSIM
Hello! I have the physical t-mobile SIM and I want to transfer phone number to my eSIM account / to convert it into eSIM. At the moment I have two tmobile accounts and numbers, is it possible to merge em? (both accounts are prepaid) I talked to the tech support - and every time I called I had a different information: 1st time i was told that in 24hrs everything would be done smoothly (nothing happened so I called again) 2d time I was told that T-Mobile doesn't support a feature to transfer the physical sim into the eSIM (when both numbers are tmobile numbers) before the first call I tried to reach a text support online - they also didn't resolve any questions and just said that tmobile doesnt fully support eSIM. What is the truth here? Is it really not possible? Also an extra eSIM question - if I want to use the same eSIM on a different phone, how to achieve it? Or it is impossible now to perform any kind of eSIM transfers? Thanks for understanding.Solved12KViews0likes12ComentariosSim locked but t mobile says fully unlocked
I bought Iphone 14 pro in September and I moved to Indonesia. So I fully paid for my phone before I came here and when I was paying for the device, t mobile expert said that it has been fully unlocked. On my setting, it still says SIM Locked and it is not working here. I called T mobile more than 10 times, they say that it's been fully unlocked but my phone says it is still locked! I even tried to scan a new esim on the phone it says I need to contact the original carrier to unlock the phone. Every time I called all they say is the device is fully unlocked. I was even connected to Apple experts but they could not help me with anything. Apple suggested me to reset the phone, which I have tried. Now I don't know what to do. It's been more than two weeks and I'm not able to use this phone that I've paid $1000 for. Please help!!!Solved9.9KViews1like28ComentariosReplacing SIM card
I'm overseas right now and I lost my SIM card some few days ago (using an international one at the moment). How can I get it replaced when I'm back in the U.S.A? I had a physical SIM card for a prepaid plan, and would like to keep the same phone number I had on that SIM card.Solved7.3KViews0likes6ComentariosUsing phone sim in tablet
I asked my question in https://community.t-mobile.com/android-9/tablets-that-can-be-used-like-a-phone-3028 But it looks like the issue has been marked as solved without a clear answer. So starting a new topic. If I use my phone sim in my tablet, can i use the tablet as my phone. I understand about the separate data line for tablet, that is not what I'm asking though. Data works with my phone sim in the tablet, but voice calls are failing, need quick help please. My phone is broken and not able to get a new phone at this time, i want to use my tablet as phone, please help. ¡Gracias!5.3KViews0likes5ComentariosSim Card Number will not go away
I just got a SIM card for Tmobile and ported my number over from Verizon. When I inserted the SIM number it came with its own phone number. I was told that the number is not in service and my phone number was ported in. I selected my phone number in my profile, however, the SIM phone number still shows up on my profile and in the phone's settings. I cannot delete or remove this number. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+. Does anyone know of any work arounds or how to delete the number? Does it go away after a certain amount of time?Solved4.4KViews0likes6ComentariosT-Mobile Home Internet Service - BYOD?
I just switched to the T-Mobile Home Internet; received my gateway device; and I am not happy with signal strength of the device. I am put on Band 12 most of the time and speeds are terrible. With my previous provider I used a MOFI 4500 modem on AT&T network and I could lock in to Bands 2 & 4 exclusively and I had no speed issues. I ordered myself a MOFI 5500 model which includes the 5G bands to use instead of the T-Mobile provided device. When I moved the sim card from the T-Mobile device to the MOFI 5500 it registers on the network but no internet connection. If I move the sim card from my phone to the MOFI 5500 it registers on the network AND I have internet connection. Is there a restriction on the sim card for the T-Mobile gateway device? How can I make this work?4.1KViews3likes10ComentariosEste dispositivo no está en nuestro sistema. Unable to unlock for other carriers sim.
hi, need to tap your collective wisdoms. I have 3 iphone 12 pro, all from t-mobile, one of them was replaced by apple store, under warranty. Account in good standing, all 3 EIP finished on May 2023, i can unlock 2 of them, but the one that was replaced in the apple store is not showing up in T-Mobile database. It shows, STATUS UNKNOWN, Device is not in our system. About 3 weeks ago-my first call, the CS "forced" the imea to unlock inthe system. I said "forced", because the first time she inputted the number, she said the system would not accept it, then after 2 more tries, the system accepted it. Since then, after numerous calls with other CSs, T-force, conference calls with Applecare. T-mobile says that IMEA is fully unlocked, but the phone still shows SIM LOCKED in the status page of my account, after erasing the phone ddd 7+ times, with a sim in w/o a sim in. Applecare says the phone works, no hardware errors. The phone has been working over 1 year and half, since it was exchanged under warranty. T-mobile CS, says it's fully unlocked, and there is no more tools at their disposal to "unlock" it. This is from T-mobile level 2 tech support, not from the CS reps. I thought about letting it slide, since i will probably trade it in in the future anyway, but this happens to be my daughter's phone, and she is hopping onto a plane this Friday, heading abroad, (thankfully my blue iphone pro is unlocked).Beside she doesn't want the blue iphone when she is back, she wants her silver iphone. In case you suggesti go to a t-mobile store, I did. They didn't even want to touch the phone. There is nothing they can do or run any short of diagnostics. Same thing with Apple store, Applecare level2 said the store would not be able to do troubleshoot it. Applecare and apple storewould have the same record. I offered to go to apple store, applecare said I don't have to. Today, I am waiting for a call back from the level 2 tech support again, he said he will escalate it. This would be my 7x calling about the same issue. It won't be my last. Perhaps, i shouldfile a complaint with the fcc, they can push t-mobile to resolve this. There is a law that said carrier must unlock phone at the end of EIP, when account is in good standing, no balance owes, etc. Meanwhile, what's your take on this? Even if there is no solution, this would good for the records, for posterity. Maybe it will help someone else later.3.6KViews1like7Comentarios
