30 Topicssamsung s21 ultra 5g ultra slow
About a week and a half ago I started noticing my phone going INSANELY slow. Like, 21 minutes into watching a 5 minute and 37 second YouTube video and I'm only 1 minute and 12 seconds in slow. Can't access anything on data, can't download anything on wifi. And it's not a location issue cuz none of my other devices are affected. My partners phone through t-mobile works fine. Every other device that uses wifi is fine. It's just this phone I've tried everything. Restarting the phone. Having only one app open at a time. Resetting all settings. Factory reset (that took me well over 4 hours cuz it's soooo slow) Ive included pics of an update ive been trying to download for hours, 0.36 mb/s with full mobile coverage and 0.00 mb/s with full wifi coverage. Before this issue that would have downloaded in less than a minute. I'm at my wits end idk what else to do?1.1KViews0likes4ComentariosCompl
I just wanted to report the worst customer service I have ever received by the T-Mobile customer service department. I have been with T-Mobile for over 5 plus years and never had issues before. When I asked to be transferred to the supervisor, she literally put me on hold for indefinite time and then finally hung up the call. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THERE IS SUPERVISOR THEN THEY SHOULD TAKE NOTICE AND ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!45Visto1like1ComentarioTMobile home internet
So we have had T-Mobile Home Internet for the last 8months. We live out in the country & had a hard time finding a provider. It either didn't exist or they put limits on the data. We were happy to find T-Mobile & even happier that it was unlimited! I work from home. Well today our internet was shut off & I received an email stating it was suspended. There was no reason for this…we were current on our bill & everything. I called them & was informed I wasn't using my Gateway where i originally signed up & they had an old address of mine on file as my current address which I had never given to them. Anyways we got that straightened out but then I was informed that unlimited coverage wasn't available at my address so I can switch to the Lite plan. I was like what do u mean it's not available?!? We've had it for the last 8 months & we're still currently on the unlimited!! It IS AVAILABLE! I was informed that as of June 2024 T-Mobile has the right to change the availability of any service at a specific location at any time!! So I've been paying $60/month for unlimited & now I can receive the Lite plan & be maxed out at 100MB for the same price!! How is this right?!!? Not only that but the connection at our location had started to get bad & when I was working & someone would turn on a TV my connection to work would go in & out & customers would say I was breaking up & they couldn't hear me. I think it was bc we live so far out & since it's summertime all of the trees have filled out with leaves now & they're blocking the signal more than it was in the winter time. We always had a good/excellent signal in the winter & it's always a weak/poor now. We were gonna get another Gateway & another internet plan & have my computer on its own internet plan. I have a VPN so it uses a lot of power. They would've had 2 accounts with us! Now that they pulled this crap with us we're leaving! This is a bunch of bull! How can they just up & decide to rip unlimited away from u that you've had for the past 8 months!! T-Mobile is a joke!!!78Visto0likes1ComentarioDisable personal hotspot on iPhone
I am looking to remove the personal hotspot feature on my child's phone. There is a setting on the phone to turn it off but he can just turn it back on and use it whenever. When we had Verizon we called and they placed a block that didn't allow him to even see it in settings. I tried calling T-Mobile support but they said that can't do it. Can we do the same thing with T-Mobile?132Visto0likes0ComentariosIssues with service
I have been chatting with T-Mobile representatives since May 1st,2023 about connection issues that interfere with calls, texts, 911 band, clocks and pretty much every single thing you'd use a smart phone for. I have been told 2 separate things. One being that I'mat the very edge of service for 2 towers, both of which not being the one i can see from my upstairs windows, and that the devices are battling which one to connect to before just dropping out. The second one being that it's "upgrades to the towers." The first one took a little over a week and several tickets to get as an answer and the second was a very very angry phone call with a manager after a random and purposeful disconnect by a representative. I took a speed test and while having decent bars and on the 5G UC band getting 13.7Mbps download and 0.00Mbps upload. This is pretty consistent and if i go literally just 1 and a half city blocks, less than a single mile away from my home i get speeds over 300 down and at least 30 up. I have been told by SAMSUNG and APPLE support directly after they looked into devices that it is NOT the devices but is the cell towers themselves. I am unable to switch as I can not afford to pay the last bill and the start-up amounts for a new carrier. I can not afford to pay 700$ for an antenna when i can go about 100 feet outside my back door and get the same 300 down and 30 up. Is there anything anyone can think of? Especially as I have a device which someone had not with any protection on it made a literal 700$ paperweight due to a disconnect during a software update resulting in corruption of the OS that requires a full motherboard and antenna replacement on an iPhone 11. I know the solution is to just alter the tower antenna slightly because it's covering a lot of farm land or add another antenna onto the tower, which i can see from my upstairs window as stated before, but T-Mobile are not willing to do this from what they have told me. The device below is a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra. The other devices with the issue are an iPhone 13 pro, Samsung A71 and another iPhone 11 that luckily is not a paper weight. i did block out certain things for privacy purposes.99Visto0likes0ComentariosAuto Deleting Stalker Voicemails
I have a stalker. They leave about 15 to 20 disturbing voicemails per day. You can block phone numbers, but you can't block them from leaving voicemails. Currently, I have to go into the text to speech voicemail app to manually delete them and I cannot turn off notifications for my stalker's voicemails. Please tell me there is a way to automatically delete voicemails. I need this phone number for work.50Visto0likes0ComentariosT-Mobile coverage map vs. FCC Coverage map ... with T-Mobile provided data
As a point of notice .. many have claimed this in the past. I have even written about T-Mobile's coverage maps and its overly 'positive' coverage where none seems to exist. The FCC has in the past 6 months created a new coverage map site, and those looking for specific local coverage may wish to validate areas of issue with .. the FCC's maps, which use carrier provided data. I have a couple of cases in point. Some that have had issues for as long as I've had service with T-Mobile. FCC's map pretty much indicate it. Eg. Main Street Cambria (West Village) + Park Hill + Happy Hill Note: FCC's coverage map claims 'outdoor' coverage, and for the town of Cambria .. is quite accurate. Also, you'll have to zoom in A LOT to get to see deadzones vs. percentage coverage. https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov/provider-detail/mobile?version=jun2023&zoom=14.67&vlon=-121.086727&vlat=35.550078&providers=130403_400_on%2C130403_500-1_on%2C130403_500-2_on&env=0&pct_cvg=0234Visto0likes1Comentarioweak connection and not able to view or find my device
I have a Vizio Smart Television with my 5G router right next to it yet I cannot connect it. I only get an error that says unable to connect to a network. I can see everyone around me neighbors and such with their Wi-Fi names but I can't select my own. It doesn't even appear as a choice. It doesn't appear at all. I have hidden Networks and that doesn't work either. I've also tried to set it up manually and still have no success. I'm curious if Anyone is having The same issue and if you are or have had that issue Did you have to Also Make A separate purchase for a Wi-Fi booster? I live in a very rural area... basically out in the country138Visto0likes1Comentario
