12 TopicsT-Mobile Trade-In Gone Wrong
So I'm still dealing with a trade-in issue from just over a year ago. I mailed my device in, pictures and video of me packing the box, the box taped, with their prepaid label, the tracking number they provided showing it was delivered to the facility, etc. Why go through the extra hassle of photo/video, you may ask, because this happened once before with AT&T by mail trade-in. Well, you can guess what happened. T-mobile claims they see that it was received by their facility but not one person can tell me what was in the package. They claim they cannot find the device in their facility. So I ask, then what notes are made regarding the the receipt of the box and its contents. No notes, no nothing. As far as I can tell, they lost it. USPS says it was delivered and received by them, yet T-Mobile customer service just keeps filing claims to say they'll look for it. 6-8 weeks later, the claim is closed, no notes or updates regarding it, and never once do they follow up. I have to call them, and each time they say they'll need to log another claim and I'll need to wait another 6-8 weeks. I'm so frustrated I'm ready to cancel their service just like I did AT&T. I want to do more. Any one have suggestions?591Visto0likes5ComentariosPromoción n.° 16 de "intercambio de Apple" de 2021
I did anApple Trade-In offer in September 2021 turning in my iPhone X for which I was supposed to get $800. The terms were for 24 months, I am now at 29 of 24 (mind you) with 1 more month to go. I am getting $21.84 credit a month. So far I only have $633.36credited and it will be $655 by the time I am done. THIS IS NOT the $800 promised (and noit wasn't up to $800). I actually have a screenshot of the offer. I am very disappointed and wished TMobile would stick with their original offer. Anybody else had this issue?22Visto0likes0ComentariosGet trade in credit for 2 new iPhones with two new Magenta MAX lines?
Please see screenshot below. When going through the process it tells me I get $800 for the S20 5G trade in, and $400 for the S10e trade in. However, when I reach the shopping cart it then removes the lower trade in credit and shows just the $800. I was told you can trade in two devices…is this a bug in the check-out system or can you really only get this offer once? All other carriers allow two trade ins.129Visto0likes1ComentarioTrade In Questions
Do customershave to finance the phone in order to take advantage of the trade in offer? (Can wepay full amount to purchase and still get the trade in value? It is really annoying how aggressive the sales people are in your stores when they push the financing option.) Also, there seems to be a lot of frustration from customers about trading in a phone with expectation of getting a certain amount only to find they are given substantially less. Can customersreturn their newly-purchasedphone for a full refund within a certain period of time if they are disappointed by the trade-in offer for their old phone? ¡Gracias!100Visto0likes1ComentarioUSPS Moving Through Network Trade-in iPhone
I shipped my trade-in iPhones on Sep 28, and Assurant has already received one; the other one has been stuck in FRISCO, TX 75035 since Oct 4th with a status saying "Moving Through Network." What should I do to get my rebate if my iPhone is lost due to USPS? Will Mobile refuse to honor the rebate?441Visto1like3ComentariosDid I send my trade-in device to the right place?
Good morning, Transferred over from Sprint just a few days ago (loving T-Mobile and its customer service so far), but I have some questions about my order and trading in a device. I am trying to take advantage of the $700 off the iPhone 11 with a trade-in of an iPhone. I distinctly remember attaching a trade-in, with IMEI and all, to my T-Mobile online order. I was required to put a down payment on the new phone, and the phone was shipped and delivered with no issues. However, I can't seem to find any documentation or details regarding my trade-in and I can't check the trade-in status. I go to My T-Mobile / My Phone / Trade-in Status and am met with this screen: From what I've seen on forums and Reddit, this is not what I should see: instead, I should see a Shipping label and RMA information to ship my old device for trade-in to T-Mobile/Assurant. I have also heard there is some sort of "Device Recovery Agreement" that I would've signed along with my Device Financing Agreement and Service Agreement when initially making the online order--I can't seem to find any Device Recovery Agreement. I called Customer Care and asked about where to send my device and I was provided a UPS shipping label to: T-Mobile NRC, 13704 Independence Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76177. The Care Representative said that my credits could take up to two full billing cycles before being applied to my account after the device is delivered. However, from what I have heard, this is not the appropriate location to send trade-in devices, as the NRC handles returns and Assurant in York, PA handles trade-ins. So, my question: will everything with my trade-in work out OK? Have I sent my device to the right location, or is there some sort of confusion or error in all of this? I'm on the new Magenta Max plan. If I trade in my son's device it gives me a credit of $400 when it's financed, however, if I want to pay in full and trade it in, it only offers me $100, why? So, I have taken advantage of $500 off for Galaxy S20 FE with Trade-In. I have the new phone with me. However, I literally can't find Trade-In Label or Instructions anywhere on my account.
