Need support about unlock network
Hello I bought iphone 11 promax long time ago, arround 2020. But now, when i was traveling to other country. I gave it to my friend as a gift. But she said it's network locked and couldn't using it. So how can i resolve this problem? I have checked some policy about payment, or bad status. But i'm sure that i already done all payment, and don't have any bad status stick with that phone. how long does it take for my phone to show unlock status? I recently paid off my iphone through t-mobile. I am traveling outside of the country for military duty and need to get a local e-sim card. The T-mobile account shows the phone is unlocked, the t-mobile rep tells me it's unlocked, but when I go to my settings, it still shows it's locked. its been a couple days now, and I really need to get service in this new country.
iPhone eSIM temporary unlock while traveling abroad
HI, I would like to know if eSIM can be unlocked only while traveling abroad. We used to be with another carrier "V" as I heard they were the only one keeping the devices unlocked even while the phone is in installment. We switched to T-Mobile 9 months ago because T-Mobile sales representative offeredcheaper monthly fee for seniors like us, upgrade to iPhone 15andT-Mobile unlocks SIM temporarily for 30 days if requesting before traveling abroad even we are in equipment installment plan. TodayI contacted forT-Mobile chat support as my wife is traveling to Japan from this weekend and was advised by a chatbot that we are not eligible to unlock because there is a balance for monthly device payment. I googled and readsome people saying the temporary unlock isavailable only toAndroid phones. It seems to be not what T-Mobile does/doesn't but rather hardware setting on Android. I also see certain iPhone can be unlocked only if installment plan is purchased from Apple store or Apple.com, which sounds weird to me why customers purchased directly from the carrier is limited in services. Although my Go5GPlus plan offers up to 5GB data included, I was informed I need to purchase international data pass after that ($35 for 5GB in 10 days, $50 for 15GB in 30 days), which sounds comparably expensive as long as I researched Japan local carriers' prepaid data rate. We travel overseas only 1 or 2 in a year, so it is still cheaper when considering the monthly charges overall, but I just would like to know the correct information of iPhone under T-Mobile equipment installment plan. Could someone who was recently in the same situation or T-Mobile expert could clarify the most updated information? Thank you so much,
I am trying to move from Tmobile to ATT. I have a Samsung S20+5g and its saying to get it unlocked by sprint
I am a bestbuy employee and had an accomodation when they worked with sprint. I bought my S20+5g outright and Tmobile took my accomodation away 3 months ago and im trying to keep my phone and move to ATT . The phone keeps telling me that its locked to sprint and call them. Well, Tmobile is sprint now. They tell me its unlocked from Tmobile. CS tells me to go to connections>more connections and unlock sim….But on my phone there is not unlock sim. So I spent hours with these "reps" that dont know a thing. Then they connect me to Samsung and Samsung says that I need to go to a Tmobile store, the guy at the store is like "IDK" , he says call CS. This is BS. Oh, and Samsung said they will give me an accomodation and upgrade me….yeah for $600 more. I heard that if you report them to the FCC, they will fold and help you. Anyone else with this problem??
