I started having problems with my new phone 1/16/21 after an update my phone started processing request for MCM client for everything I did from making a call to sending a text and I noticed that I would loose Tmobile network and would not be able to connect to wifi until a restart Then the issues would start back with loosing calls and text's would not send. Purchased S21 ultra from Best Buy as device upgrade for Tmobile line about 5 days ago. Device itself is Tmobile (verified by tmobile and their Samsung support). Problem is that it doesn't seem to be getting any update from Tmobile's servers. Contacted TM and they transferred to their Samsung support. Samsung support blamed tmobile and stated its their responsibility to push the update. Tmobile said to wait for 48-72 hours. Been waiting for a while now and no Android 12 update. I could update the firmware on my own using third party solutions but I shouldn't have to as there's risk involved with that. My return period from Best Buy will end soon. Need to figure out if this device will get the update or not. My S21 was on Android 12 for almost a month until I traded it in. Another family member has S21 Ultra and their device is also running 12. Anyone aware of, or noticing any issues with group texts on their Note 20Us (possibly any other Samsung device?) after the latest software update? I noticed that after the update, any group text chats via Samsung messages, doesn't keep the conversation in the group thread. In example, a group chat with 2 or more people, messages can be sent in the thread and devices on the receiving end get the message just fine within the thread, however, when anyone from that thread responds, instead ofgetting the message within that group thread, it comes to my device as separate thread message as if I am speaking with those individuals one on one. This has made things a bit confusing as some of my threads are bigger than 5 people, and when a topic that picks up steam takes off, exceeding 50 messages, I come back to my phone to find all those message cascaded as separate texts from the individuals instead of in anorganized flowin the group thread. When I first noticed the issue, I power cycled the phone, booted in to Android System Recovery and cleared my cache. Cleared the cache of the Samsung messaging app, MCM client, and Carrier Hub, apps and still no luck. I ignored the issue for a about a week or so to see if it would resolve itself or if Samsung would maybe provide an app update to the messages app (they usually provide app updates after big OTA updates to their default apps) to resolve the issue, instead, I ended up getting another OTA update to my device, 2 OTAs in less than 3 weeks. The issue however, remained the same. I conducted a test on 2 other phones I have at home by creating a new group chat with them which proved it's just my device so far. I conducted the test with a few other friends, and they are getting the texts in the thread just fine. I also notice that each time I boot up my device I get these prompts and back to back alerts that may tell a bigger story (see screenshots). I had to be quick in getting the screenshots for these, my dark mode may make the text hard to read. I did recently change my planfrom Simple Choice to Magenta MAX so not sure if that plays a part in this but other devices on my plan are not showing these issues.the other devices are all iPhone 12s though.Also to reference, my Note20 Ultra is using it's built in eSIM. Wondering what else I can do stopping shy of a device wipe. The screenshot that says unstable connection seems wrong because my device shows full bars on 5G although possibly true becausemy dBm's are pretty high at around 96 to 100 average. why out of these phone services that the phones you sell is premium text denied? it was nit with sprint ? so get this as I figured out they have it blocked on their end so you will call and purchase new phones. Service access denied even for veterans that cannot verify accounts, to bypass this please download google voice and change all your accounts to your google number. AKA voip, tmobile i also fouund out is the only phone carrier that does this so that when you do call they will offer you to spend about 700 on a new phone upgrade. no other company just disables this, sprint even had it enabled til they merged, its all a call away from giving them alot of money ,, we did a story on this on our radio station and as a veteran military no one can ever use their tmobile number to verifuy their accounts to send codes so that you can access your online banks vetrans accounts, go to verizon, i wish i did but after this year i will be done with their asses. When are you going to push out the update for ui 3.1 to the S20 unlocked? If it had to do with the t mobile software, the unlocked doesn't have any that should affect an update. If the S21 can run on the network, then updating other phones should work. Verizon is already pushing the update to the S10 series which is a phone you can't even buy anymore. Its pathetic that a flagship phone doesn't have the update yet when Samsung announced it is available for the S20 almost a month ago. Please hurry up. I know there will be some big fixes that I've been waiting for. Most of the 3.1 updates don't even have anything to do with a network. Hi, Runing a Galaxy S21 Ultra T-Mobile (SM-G998U) My phone pulled down the latest T-Mobile update yesterday around 10am EST time Installed it. Since then I have lost all data connectivity unless using Wi-Fi, texting and phone calls are fine. I tried the troubleshooting below: Restart Power off/Power On Pulled the sim card (while off and On Changing the network modes to LTE/3g and LTE/3G/2G Manually creating an APNwith IPV4/IPV6 ManuallySelecting Networking operators (also tried AT&T then back to T-Mobile) Did some errands in other towns to confirm it is not a tower problem other phone in the house does have 4g/5g full signal. Last week the watch downloaded and update with no notice before hand that it was going to two days after purchasing. Thatshouldn't be allowed unless I approve it via the app for numerous reasons but anyway the bigger problem is, ever since it will not charge unless you power it off and then stick it on the charger. At that point it turns itself back on and starts charging. It's very annoying at this point of only having had the watch a full 7 days now and having to do this for the last 4. Is anyone having data issues after the latest update for the Galaxy S21. Since the update, my phone keeps dropping from 5G to E. T-Mobile tech support reset my network from their end and it seemed to work the rest of the day but started again the next day.733Visto0likes4Comentarios
