voicemail problem
13 Topicsgetting wifes voicemail on my phone
my family just recently moved to T-Mobile, we all have the new iPhone 15 and we are all on iOS 17. We have noticed that sometimes voicemail messages meant for one person end up on another person's phone. For example, I got two voicemail messages that were meant for my wife on my phone this morning. How does this happen, and how do we stop it?4KViews0likes3ComentariosVoicemail not acknowledging pin entry
Whenever I try to access my voicemail I am able to call the voicemail and it asks me to enter my pin and then press #. However, every time I try, it does not seem to acknowledge me entering my password or pressing pound and continuously requests my pin until it just disconnects. I have tried this while on wi-fi and not on wi-fi and still have the issue. Please help!!!Solved1.5KViews0likes8ComentariosVoicemail notifications and OnePlus 9 Pro software updates
Last couple of times I seen I missed a call and never heard it ring. I did fix that issue why sound was turned down not sure. I discovered those missed calls did leave voicemail and that notification is not showing up. Came here to investigate and found issues with the software for the phone OnePlus 9 Pro. For the voicemail: When a voicemail is left there is no notifications showing for voicemail just a missed call. I have tried different things to get notifications to show but nothing has worked and went to the extreme and uninstalled the T-Mobile VVM knowing that I can always reinstall it later. That did not work, and yes restarted the phone several times and used the house phone to leave messages. If I know there is a voicemail I can retrieve and found them calling voicemail or using the VVM, I just want to know there is a message. Read where others have had this issue but could not find a simple way of fixing this issue. For software update: Question on this is if there is an update and T-Mobile does not provide it as quickly as OnePlus can you download the new update through OnePlus website? I am there and it goes into detail how to download to computer then to phone. Not something I plan to do at this time since I am not having any issues with the software unless it deals with the voicemail. Just reading where others have had issues with a new update that has caused them issues and the update is months older then what is available and thought to ask for future reference. Only have the phone less than a month and so far everything has been fine for me till I discovered notifications for voicemail not showing.1KViews1like6ComentariosAndroid Voice Mail
We transferred our phones from another carrier to T-Mobile a couple weeks ago. We brought our Android phones (and numbers) with us. Wehave been unable to access voice mail since then. Before, we would just press and hold "1" for a moment, and it would bring up the voice mail menu. Doing that now causes the phone to dial *86, but then I get the message that "this call cannot be completed as dialed." I know I've gotten voice mail messages, because I've gotten text messages that are an attempted transcript of the message. These messages invite me to dial a phone number (469 area code) to listen to the full message, but it's a different phone number every time. Also, it's not a voice mail account or menu -- I can just listen to that one message, then choose what to do with it, but assoon as I delete the message, the service hangs up on me -- I can't do anything else. What am I missing?276Visto0likes2ComentariosCall forwarding issue
Hello, I use my phone for when I am on-call at work and have not added/changed any call forwarding settings in my personal phone. There is a call forwarding phone system at my work and when a someone dials that number, the call should be forwarded to me, but does not dial and hangs up after a couple seconds. I'll use example #'s to make more sense of it. Someone would dial the phone system at work (111-111-1111), that number would be forwarded to my phone number (222-222-2222) and essentially should ring my personal phone. Instead, it does not ring and drops the phone call after a couple seconds. This was all happening with my ZFlip 4. I tried resetting all settings, formatting completely with no luck. Just yesterday, I upgraded to a ZFlip 6, same issue persists. I tried reformatting again, disabling wifi calls, and making sure all restricted/blocked calls were unblocked. Nobody else has this issue at my work (even with their t-mobile phones)and the IT dept has reported everything is working on their end. I have a work issued cell phone (T-Mobile as well) and that phone has hadno issues with receiving phonecalls either). Is there some setting specifically with the ZFlip phones that is prohibiting me from receiving the calls? Suggestions? Thanks.261Visto0likes0ComentariosVoicemail not working. Tmobile deleting my brand new voicemails within minutes
My voicemail stopped working out of the blue. At first, it wouldn't pick up and it would ring and ring or give a busy signal. When I called T-mobile, they got the same error and recommended we delete my voicemail and set it up again. After doing so, a greeting would come up and allow the person to leave a voicemail, only that message gets deleted within a few minutes. I don't get any notifications of a voicemail and even the voicemail on the T-mobile server somehow disappears within a few minutes. It's not just an issue with visual voicemail, it's an issue with T-mobile voicemail not working at all. When I call my voicemail now, it says "you have no messages" even though the T-mobile reps have left several message and I left several messages as well. This is the first time I have ever had such an issue with T-mobile and it's BEYOND FRUSTRATING to spend well over 3 HOURS OF MY TIME TROUBLESHOOTING to no avail. If this can't get fixed, then I have no choice but to leave this service. Note: this is not an issue with my phone as the voicemail itself on the T-mobile server is not present after it's left. Also, I have no updated my phone recently, so for the voicemail to suddenly stop working is both baffling and unacceptable.256Visto0likes1ComentarioVoicemail: How to hear New Messages FIRST?
Is there any way to force playback of new voicemail messages first of all? Because holy hell, is it ever annoying to dial in for sometime-critical vm and be forced to wade through six recitations of "Saved message...due for automatic deletion..." before I can proceed to hear from my sister about my mother's visitto the ER.My month-old messages are not the priority, so this feature is reliably infuriating.64Visto0likes0Comentarios
