So I just switched services and I'm using a t-mobile gateway, whenever i connect to any game on my pc wither it's roblox, genshin, warframe, whatever the game may be i constantly disconnect. My computer however stays connected to the internet I just instantly get disconnected from games, if I'm in a call the call will stay fine. I believe it's due to the dynamic IP address but I'm not sure does anyone have a solution or has this happened to anyone else. (I tried a VPN and that was worse)669Visto3likes3ComentariosWifi disconnecting
So, I've had T mobile home internet for about 4 months, and it worked perfectly fine for about 3 months then it started disconnecting randomly over and over again, I play games like siege both on my Xbox and pc and I got banned 3 times for not being able to reconnect after getting disconnected. It usually works fine for about 15 minutes then it disconnects constantly sometimes even immediately after loading into a game. But it makes it impossible for games, video calls, and any other type of services that require consistent connectivity. is anybody else having this problem? I called support 3 times and swapped the gateway out and I thought it fixed it but a week later it started doing it again. The first 2 people were helpful, but the last person seemed confused like they've never heard that before and acted like I was doing something wrong on my side. Let me know if there's any fixes I really don't wanna keep paying for this service if it just doesn't work.70Visto0likes0ComentariosPrinter Stopped Connecting to Wifi
Now, whenever I try to reconnect, it says that it failed the MAC address filtering check. My Gateway isArcadyan KVD21, which according to some other questions I've seen asked, doesn't have those kinds of access controls. I've got a 2.4g band set up which is what the printer needs, and confirmed that the printer supports the WPA3-SAE security type I've got set up. The frustrating part is that when I switched to T-Mobile back in November, the printer connected just fine. We don't use it super often, so it's not clear when this issue arose. The printer is an Epson ET-4800. Before I call up Epson support and have them tell me it's the fault of the gateway, is there anything else I should try?190Visto0likes1Comentario2.4 Ghz internet devices keep disconnecting from GSE internet box
Recently switched to tmobile internet and first few days everything worked fine. All devices connected with no issues. Decent speed and all. One morning awoke to find no internet at all. Fixed by unplugging tmobile modem and power back up. Suspect never recovered from forced firmware update. Since then most of the devices that operate only on the 2.4ghz bbandwidth either won't connect or won't stay connected. These are different brands such as LG (refrigerator), Texas Instrument (thermostat), Epson ecotank printer and Samsung stove, and Amazon devices which weren't reliable already so not fretting them. The stove can get reconnect in about 10 minutes. The fridge sometimes takes half hour or more to get back online (latest model nearly 5k and only 6 months old). The thermostat can sometimes be as simple as cutting the power at the circuit breaker box and powering it back up. The printer never reconnect again.. Tmobile experts had me do 3 hours of troubleshooting. Including separating 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz bandwidth with different said, no special characters I. Name or password. Using the older WPA security (which my Samsung S23 ultra refuses to connect with due to insufficient security). Resetting device back to factory settings. Removing the sim and other steps I probably forgot. Finally they sent a new modem out to replace the just got new one. It doesn't do any better. Sometimes you know the modem got a firmware update because again no internet to any device regardless of what bandwidth (like the smart TV uses 5 ghz). 5 ghz can be recovered by unplugging the new "new" modem and restarting. The other devices are sometimes having to wait a couple days until I can keep going through the steps to get them reconnected. Oh, the printer was assigned the incorrect gateway is why it won't reconnect by wifi but ordering a 25 foot ethernet cable and hard wired to the modem has finally fixed it. Even my Acer computer is struggling to stay connected on either the 2.4 ghz bandwidth or the 5 ghz. Often it will say no internet connection. Suddenly it makes connection for a few minutes but just as mysterious it will drop off as well. While I do like the price of the tmobile internet for the aggravation I should have stayed with Comcast xfinity even through it was 3 time the price. Nothing ever had any connection issues with them until the old modem failed but the new old resolved that an6 was working fine for almost a year. Even the sometimes fickle Amazon plugs rarely had any problems. Am I doomed to constantly suffering this aggravation while tmobile keeps updating the modem? Good thing my vivint has cell backup so the alarm system will still work. But it's really inconvenient to get up from my wheelchair to change the room temperature. Impossible to tell the fridge it's not making enough ice for your needs without being connected. I have a work around for the printer and the other day I was able to get it reconnected to wifi for a whole half hour before it stopped being online. Of course I "fixed it" by putting it back in corded mode. Even the tmobile internet app itself won't stay connected with never being able to get it to display the networks page without seeing the error message of need to restart the router if the error continues and let me tell you restarting it usually doesn't fix the issue. When I find time I do a factory reset of the router and then it will start working again. If anyone has any idea other than grin and bear it, I would love to give them a try. I will probably get on my 4th call with tech support soon but I am not sure if they are going to making it better824Visto0likes6Comentarios5G Home Internet Continues to disconnect
I have had this device just a few days and I must reboot it about three times a day as the WIFI will fail and knock out ethernet as well. Sometime I have to reboot it twice in a row. When can I expect a hotfix for this issue? I cannot afford to work like this and I will have to drop service is not fix ASAP. I will like to also request credit on my bill until the issue is 100% resolved. I see several topics for the exact same issue I am having and it need to be fixed across the board!!!Solved3.3KViews6likes16Comentarioswifi connected and secured, still doesnt work
I have had T-Mobile WiFi for 2 months and I have been having the same issue at least 3-4times a week. Sometimes it's randomly in the day, but the majority of the time between 9-11pm or 6-9am, my wifi will stop working correctly. Every device connected and the gateway will say everything is connected and secure, but the wifi doesn't work. Most of the time, websites buffer and then go out completely to the point where it's as if I'm not connected to wifi at all. sometimes if I'm lucky the wifi will just be really slow (like taking 30 seconds to do one thing slow) but I can still access things. Just getting on this website and typing this out took me 20 minutes to do.I have tried the following: limited the number of devices connected unplugged and replugged the gateway (do this at least 3-4 times every time this happens) rebooted every device connected changed the location of the gateway 3 times troubleshooted called customer service (just got told to unplug) turned everything off and waited for a while before going back right now, I do many of these things multiple times and none of them work. The only thing I can really do is give up on my studying or homework and try again the next morning, except that now it's stopped working in the morning too.this is really upsetting me because I'm a student that needs to be able to study and do homework at night. It's gotten so bad that I have had to pack up my thingsand pray that there's somethingopen at 10pm with free WiFito turn in assignments or study. When I called customer service about a month ago, I was on the phone for 40 minutes with them just apologizing and telling me to unplug and replug. I got sick of it and haven't called since. If there's anything anyone can suggest I really appreciate it.236Visto0likes1Comentario
