Re: 5G Home Internet
Had a very similar issue. I created a separate T-Mobile 2.4ghz network (using the T-Mobile app) and connected my security cameras, printers and other 2.4ghz devices to it (older devices). I kept my computers (laptop/desktop), firesticks, phones, televisions and other newer 5ghz devices on the 5ghz network. Have had blazing speed ever since. Again, this worked for me. I am in a remote area also.6Visto0likes0ComentariosT-Mobile Autopay using debt card
Got the following email from T-Mobile for my T-Mobile Home Internet payment. Oh no! Your payment didn't go through We weren't able to process your recurring electronic payment from your account XXXX. Because of the failed payment, you have been un-enrolled from AutoPay. Please make a one-time payment today at t-mo.co/pay and update AutoPay settings to avoid late fees and suspension and keep your AutoPay discount, if applicable. Thank you, Your T-Mobile Team Last month the payment was processed using the same card (without an issue) and there are ample funds in the account (the account is a debt card account). I logged into my account selected the payment option and the payment processed immediately. Even though I like T-Mobile issues like this make me very wary of their service.T-Mobile App (Manage Devices)
I can scroll thru my gateway to see the total number of devices I have connected but when I use the T-Mobile Internet App I "always" get "Gateway error code:500". When I reboot my phone, gateway or reboot both I still get the same error. I have had T-Mobile for about 3 months and only been able to see the connected devices via the app only once or twice. Any suggestions? It would be nice to be able to manage my devices with the app. I have two phones. Both are Motorola G (android version 11.0). Same error on both phones. My gateway is the FAST 5688W. HELP!1.4KViews0likes3ComentariosRe: How do you get ID without a T-Mobile phone number (for Home Internet)
I was contacted by HeavenM (I think he is an admin in the T-Mobile Internet Forum). Once he verified my name, username and gateway number, he created a trouble ticket. Later that day (on my own) I tried to logon using my gateway number (previously I used a non-T-Mobile number) and WAS ABLE TO LOGON. INCREDIBLE! Not sure what the "admin" (HeavenM) did or had done but possibly he associated my gateway number to my account. Sorry, I cannot provide more specific details but I don't have them. All I can say is, whatever he did, IT WORKED! Good luck.2Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How do you get ID without a T-Mobile phone number (for Home Internet)
HeavenMhelped me get online account access today. I verified my gateway #, name and username and was able to logon within 2 hours. I am so happy I can barely write this email (I hope I am not dreaming). HeavenMis the GREATEST! Just FYI to everyone. Hopefully you will also get access soon.3Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How do you get ID without a T-Mobile phone number (for Home Internet)
I like to solve issues, not give up on them but in this case (if I were you) I would put this on the back burner (I have). My internet works fine, autopay is working, I get my $5.00 discount for autopay and I get a paper bill about 10 - 14 days prior to the autopay date. Good luck but if you come up with a solution please post it.3Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How do you get ID without a T-Mobile phone number (for Home Internet)
Signed up over the phone? YES. Do you have the confirmation email from when you signed up? YES. My information MATCH 100%. I have gone over the information numerous times with Customer Care since early April 2023. I appreciate all the comments but this should be a simple issue to resolve for Technical Support. Instead, it is not being address and everyone seems to just keep kicking the can down the road.46Visto3likes0ComentariosRe: How do you get ID without a T-Mobile phone number (for Home Internet)
I would like to manage my Internet Only account online but the frustration of setting up the account (with a non-T-Mobile cellphone) has worn me down. I did manage to establish autopay via calling Customer Care and I get a paper bill each month but for now I have given up on getting online account access. It is hard to believe this has not been resolved by T-Mobile Technical Support. For now, as long as my internet works, autopay is in effect and I keep getting a paper bill, I am good to go. T-Mobile should consider giving everyone affected by this issue a "Unable to Establish a T-Mobile ID" an additional $10.00 discount (lol).90Visto5likes0Comentarios
