Re: How long have you been a T-Mobile customer?
Justice2023 wrote: For 3 years here is the tea… TL;DR More customers getting screwed by unethical if not completely illegal behaviors. T-mobile likely has institutionalized best practices around screwing customers to maximize profits. I definitely have seen this on their trade-ins. Have traded multiple pristine phones and they are lost or damaged in transit or the promotion is "accidentally" not applied. I'd say 50% of my trades over past 5 years fell into this category. Happy to provide more info and sign up for class action if asked.10Visto0likes0ComentariosQuit T-Mobile after 20+years. Then things got worse.
After 20 (mostly happy) years with T-Mobile I finally had enough of their BS over the past 3 years and I dumped them. Why? Here's a short list: Claimed my trade was lost Claimed my trade was damaged (refused to provide pictures although I had video of me trading a pristine phone at the store) "accidentally" changed my plan when I added a watch "accidentally" didn't apply the promo on another trade never Fixed above problem necessitating me to call service every month for 2 years to get the monthly credit applied Discontinued service with the 3g switch breaking my car, watch, and 2 phones ruined my coverage in my rural area and the last straw: breached my contract with the autopay method of payment scam doubling the monthly cost for my additional lines So I quit. Ported my phones out and paid my final bill. Then the problems started… (well I guess they never ended) T-Mobile claimed I kept their equipment. The item in question - a 10 year old WiFi router which never worked so it ended up in a box.So I mailed it back. One of my line ports failed for some reason so they charged me an extra month of service (including making me pay them for Netflix but TMobile did not pay Netflix that month i called in to get the bill removed. They apologized and said they'd fix it. They didn't I called and got a bill credit to offset their bogus charges. They said they applied the credit. They send me another bill with a late fee. Today they said they fixed that too. Again 20+ years. Never a late payment. Retired military account. EFF T-MobileRe: WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH THE PHILIPPINES CALL CENTER? and why is T-Mobile fielding all calls out to them??
Totally agree. Terrible customer service, data breaches, bad coverage, increasing rates - that's the new T-Mobile. We dumped them recently after 30 years for these types of games. You should do it too. There are lots of better options out there.33Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Now we get the "benefit" of watching Netflix ads? great...
Just another classic example of T-Mobile nickling and diming. This is NOT Netflix's fault. T-mobile is not paying for what they originally promised you they would pay. Just like when they stopped considering credit cards to be eligible for the autopay discount. We dumped them last month after almost 30 years. You should too.11Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: It was a good ride...
We were on a legacy military plan so we got a military discount at At&t for a couple of lines and went to xfinity mobile for some of our lines that use very little data. Happy with both but xfinity mobile surprised us at how good the coverage is. I miss the "team of experts" from years past but the T-Mobile support has become very bad just like everywhere else. (Obviously they weren't good enough to keep us as customers). The nice thing about xfinity is the people working in the physical store here are really good and helpful.12Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How Can T-mobile get away with Stealing & NEVER resolve issues, only promising to have a Supervisor Call back but Never Do?
Did you have any luck with small claims? We just left T-mobile after 2 decades because they raised rates on our grandfathered plan by 50% (end of a long list of scams and abuses by T-mobile).7Visto1like0ComentariosRe: T mobile billing is garbage
Classic TMobile. We just left them after over 2 decades because of stuff like this. "Free" promotion doesn't work (spend days on the phone to fix) They lost our trade-in (spends weeks on the phone to sortit out) They "accidentally" change our grandfathered plan when we ordered a watch (spend weeks on the phone to fix) They received another trade in but the rep didn't apply the promo correctly so we have to call in EVERY month for a bill adjustment Our credit card is hacked thanks to their breech ( months with T-Mobile, banks, state and feds) The final straw was when they changed the autopay rules and increased our bill by 50% for all the add-on lines. So long TMO. Also I've spent a lot of time in India and have never met a natural born Indian with an accent named "John". I suspect they try to get offshore reps to Americanize their names to make customers feel more comfortable. How exploitative! Can you imagine your employer making you do that? In India it is common in the call center because there are no rules or protective laws to prevent such measures by the big multinational corps.6Visto1like0Comentarios
