Dropped calls in Lake Oswego Oregon are getting worse - 2 hours on phone with Tmobile got nowhere

The cell service to my house used to be OK, but within the last 6 months we get one bar and dropped calls all the time. I called the "service" department. Got a representative in India or someplace. They took 45 minutes to transfer me to someone in what sounded like the Philippines. That person could figure out what a dropped call was, though she kept telling me how bad she felt.

I live in a high density town with plenty of cell towers, and it looks like service crews are up on there tweaking things all the time. So, what happened to so that I can't use my phone at home any more?

More importantly, why has sent all the service calls overseas to people who don’t understand the problem and have no way of passing the problem to someone in T-Mobile who can do anything to fix it?

Get your act together T-Mobile!

Not just T-Mobile. Everyone uses off shore call centers, It is inconvenient but you might visit a T-Mobile store in person. They may have answers or solutions.

Regarding the crappy service and constant dropped calls I can second that I am experiencing the same issue and have been for almost a year now. Recently a TMobile tech associate was attempting to help resolve my issues once again and they shared with me that the tower closest to me isn't close enough to give me a proper signal and that another tower installation nearby would resolve my issue 😆 Furthermore I went on to find out the nearby towers are actually owned by Verizon and just leased out by TMobile. I also read that since their latest move to a 'new and improved 5G network' actually doesn't work for most phones that aren't brand new. Another thing is that supposedly service is 'deprioritized' with no further explanation. I'm switching providers today... ¡Buena suerte!

  • Wake up Tmobile! When you make it hard for people to use your service, and brush off problems to a distant call center where they don't know what they're doing, you will lose customers. Me included.
