My home internet is suddenly lagging. I have turned it off and back on, unplug the power cable for 30 seconds, and reconfigured my settings, but nothing seems to be working.

If you havent't, you might try running the Ookla speed test (or similar) available online. It can show which server you are on. A crowded server (many users) could be the issue. Also you didn't indicate if the "lag" is intermittent or continuous.

I had the same issue after being told the internet might help boost my cell service at home. I had it for 9 months and it barely ever worked, maybe 1 or 2 bars max and it would constantly drop calls and texts, etc.
I recommend switching service providers like an associate from TMobile told me to do. Good luck 馃憤
